1. Is Barak waiting for some dead children to react?
Ben Yisrael ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (08.04.11)
2. If only...
Adam ,   Golan Heights Israel   (08.04.11)
...a rocket would hit the house of our esteemed DM...we may actually get a replacement who is prepared to defend Israel. Sadly, I think the terrorists know this, so the last person they want to kill is the one who is allowing them to continue firing rockets at Israelis.
3. No Danger
shlomo   (08.04.11)
No damage, no injuries, no drama....................
4. It is high time Israel targeted the heads of terror in Gaza
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (08.04.11)
and not only their workshops and storage houses.
5. Defense Minister?
max ,   washington dc   (08.04.11)
In the U.S. Barak could never aspire to be a Defense Minister as a Defense Minister's job is to protect his county and people from attacks. Even the terrorists know he is like a "marshmellow" as they continue to fire rockets from Gaza!
6. Obviously ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.04.11)
... Israel can exercise a military solution which will have surgical precision, but there might be a better way to get the point across. For every missile or mortar shell fired into Israel, Gaza loses thirty-six hours of electricity and be forced to go thirty-six without fresh water. That will drive the point across.
7. defence minister
chana ,   s a   (08.04.11)
a fat indolent older man ,long past his sold by date, rather sad actually if it where not so dangerous to peoples lives.
8. de fence minister
jo moor   (08.04.11)
He is a minster on de fence. He should take care lest de fence catches him de nakkers
9. Attacks against Israel
Tamas Pecsi ,   Uitgeest Netherland   (08.04.11)
As a Jew I hate the sentence "The final solution". But when all Muslim Wants to se Israel burn and the whole western world, nothing comes to my mind but these exact words: "Fial Solution"! Israel and the rest of the world need a cure for Muslim radicalism!
10. It is high time we finish...
Ya'akov ,   Jeruslaem   (08.04.11)
the war that has been waged against us. WE NEVER FIGHT TO WIN, we always fight for a truce (which is just a lower level of aggression against us, and while they rearm. We ALWAYS leave our enemies intact, organized ever since 1948/49 and 1967. That is the problem. I tis now time to obliterate the enemy and put Colin Powell's tactic and war-time values to use for Israel.
11. Tepid Response
Ron ,   OC, US   (08.04.11)
The 3rd time this week I have stated a tepid response to terror will bring more terror. Let the IAF go to work for a few hours and the rockets will stop.
12. Shlomo no 3
JUDAH THE LION   (08.04.11)
No damage,no injuries,no drama........ You mean not to bomb them until some Israelis to be killed.
13. To: No. 3
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.04.11)
The law follows intent, not efficacy. The criminal act is the firing of a missile or a mortar shell; not where it falls. That is what should govern Israel's response, and the degree of the response should be Draconian.
14. @#6- Sarah B is this you????
Barry ,   Israel   (08.04.11)
15. this just a trick. they want to say whole world
ramadan trick ,   lebanon   (08.04.11)
'' Israel kill us on ramadan''
16. Barak is like Kevin Bacon in the movie Animal House
William ,   Israel   (08.04.11)
near the end of the film when chaos erupted on the street, and Kevin was calming saying "Relax, all is well"
17. Gaza needs to undergo urgent surgery.
It's high time for ,   Hamas to   (08.04.11)
Someone (?!) should remove the cancerous growth called Hamas. Unless we do that as quickly as possible, the whole surrounding is put in harm's way and we don't want that. Why should we take this constant aggravation? Why should we allow a bunch of primitive terrorists to lodge rockets into Israel? Why should we put up with Islamic fascists whose only belief and phylosophy is the cult of death? If you like death more than life, go kill yourselves and finish with this messy business.
18. To: Barry at No. 14
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.04.11)
Yes.
19. barak

It was a very good post too. Just what we expcet from the real Sarah B.
21. iron done don't do
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (08.04.11)
What a waste of time this iron dome. it makes good PR, but it sure don't do nothing. Wake up IDF, attack attack and attack the hamas people until they plead for peace terms, like the Japanese in WWII, since Hiroshima in '45 we have peace with the Japanese. Look, Learn and then Do it, do it , do it.
22. Time to react
Dom ,   Netanya / Israel   (08.05.11)
Why don't we go to the streets and demand some action from Barak ? What is he waiting for ..
23. targeting open fields will continue till September
observer ,   Egypt   (08.05.11)
24. And what happens when the Intel plant is hit?
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (08.05.11)
Intel has a major fab in Kiryat Gat, soon to undergo a major upgrade. One can only imagine the impact on high-tech foreign investment if it, or one of the facilities supporting it, suffers damage in one of these assaults. (Intel is one of Israel's largest exporters.)
25. Why do you let them do this?
Carsten Schmidt ,   Old Europe   (08.05.11)
26. The attacks seem come on Assad's orders
reader ,   Israel   (08.05.11)
This time he badly needs to draw attention away from his atrocities. Besides, Hamas leader resides in Damascus and there is no doubt Assad controls him.
27. Why Does Gaza Still Exist?
Dan ,   Florida   (08.05.11)
28. #25 are you blaming Hamas or the Israelis?
observer ,   Egypt   (08.05.11)
29. Did the UN ever do anything ...
John ,   Alaska   (08.05.11)
in response to Israel's complaint about attacks from Gaza?
30. To: Eaglebeak at No. 20
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.05.11)
Thank you. I meant it, too. If Hamas wants to play games, Israel should make them pay dearly for the privilege. When restaurants have to start dumping spoiled food; when hospitals cannot function; when people have to throw out the contents of their refrigerators, maybe the ordinary people of Gaza (to the extent there are any) will join the "Arab spring." It's worth a try.
