My heart went out to these young women. I was also infuriated by the insensitivity and cruelty they've encountered. It is just beyond belief. What arrogance! Any one of us, even those smug ones surrounded by their children, can G-d forbid, have a tragedy in their lives, and need the compassion and understanding of others. There is never any justification for tactlessness and meaness. Haven't these people been taught to care for others and show some empathy to others? Aside from the fertility issues, the scene in the religious community that these women have described is simply arrogance , cruelty and tacky behavior.
