Dear Rogerlen, yes, Israel can annex these territories, that is not the question. The real question is, will other countries recognize this annexation? The answer is simple: no. And such a refusal to recognize an annexation can easily last for an infinite period of time. Worse for Israel, it will strengthen the hand of those who argue for a boycott of Israel. It will also strengthen the hand of those who argue that Israel is the aggressor here, the colonial power. So an annexation may feel great, but in the long run it will isolate Israel as never before. My bet is thatt you would lose most of the remaining support in Europe, and even some moderate support in the USA. And that, if you ask me, is a very dangerous position for Israel to be in. I would not want to go there, but ... it is up to israelis to choose here. I just hope you choose wisely.
