I was speaking with my parents and apparently there was a speech by the local MP ( a Conservative ) a couple of weeks back at the local synagogue. In the question and answer session after they asked him about the idea of Abbas going to the UN in September and he said that he thinks thats the only way forward and he thinks David Cameron is generally supportive of the idea if the wording of the resolution is right. So it looks like the UK at least will be voting in favor. I suggest people like you write to your local MP and make yourself heard because the only language this government understands is how is this going to affect our chances of winning the next election.
