31. is this a part of the antisemitism week at the UN???????????
QUESTION   (08.13.11)
just one day after the palis bid for statehood jews all over the world will be facing the iranian president blaming them for being a racist religoun(?!) If you wondered what is the purpose of those two days at the UN. than Now you know it's all about the extermination of the Jewish state....
32. in the history books made by the PLO palestine includes...
Sandra ,   LA, CA, USA   (08.13.11)
Tel- Aviv, Ashkelon and also Ber - sheba and Ceasaria. it includes all the state of israel!!!!! i don't have a problem with palestinians forming their own state, but why does palestine by mahmud abbas (he ordered to teach that to the palestinian kids...) includes the entir israel and is'nt baised on the 67 lines as he always says "Bibi is the one who refuse them"?????
33. The "Pals" have a big mouth but no land
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (08.13.11)
and they hope, that Israel will be silly enough, to give away it's own land to support its most hateful and most dangerous enemies... HOW CRAZY CAN IT BE ?
34. #1Sarah's willful ignorance
Daran ,   UK   (08.13.11)
You have got to ask your self if Sarah really understands the nature of the GA 'powers' . Military aid, sanctions and access to ICC (and other UN bodies). Idea that the US would support annexation is a dead duck and thus entirely unsustainable (she must know that?) I offered this quote to Sarah before but she willfully ignores the facts . "“those who believe that the UN General Assembly’s deliberations are of a solely declarative importance are mistaken.”" Gabriela Shalev
35. To #14 and the rest of the "palestinan" delegation
A ,   Belgium   (08.13.11)
"You did not have to steal Palestine to make your smelly Jewish homeland you troll. " You people don't need a country, you need a kindergarten. " It's time to end the occupation, he said before bursting into tears." And better make sure this guy has lots of hankies to wipe off his crocodile tears. Especially when the UN gives you a great, big NEE.
36. To: No. 24
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.13.11)
Please provide one historical account when the ersatz "Palestinians" actually wanted peace. Please also tell me why international law and convention should be overturned just in order to accommodate your illegal demands for a state (which you have rejected three times prior) and why your seven decades of unremitting terror should be rewarded with a state. Please tell me. Inquiring minds want to know.
37. from september and on NO israel! only palestine!!!!!!!!
Ali ,   Palestine   (08.13.11)
38. And after that we takeover the world
Moazin ,   Gaza   (08.13.11)
so many countries we have to takeover
39. some question for sarah b, please...
eporue ,   europe   (08.13.11)
#34 makes good points, and i would like to ask also three questions to sarah b... (1) are you a full israeli taxpayer, means, your world-income is taxed in israel ? (2) why dont you live in a settlement ? i assume, are you aware, that you are asking your fellow jews to pay a very very high prices for keeping up the occupation, particulary after september ? so, (3) how do you think the israelis should absorb sanctions and whatever else will be imposed by the intl community ? what will lead to higher taxes, unemployment etc etc.. should they just starve, going abroad doing bank robberies... what do you think ?
40. To: No. 3
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.13.11)
What passport do you travel on, dear? If you live in the West Bank, contemplate your answer carefully, because I never -- NEVER -- ask a question to which I do not know the answer. You have claimed -- variously -- to be a West Banker. I KNOW you do not travel on an Israeli passport. So -- which passport do you hold? And since only citizens of a particular country are granted passports, to which country will you be repatriated when Israel annexes Judea and Samaria and you become an undesirable alien? Do something productive for a change, chica. Start packing.
41. the palestinian people and the rest of mankind.
(a) wonder ,   world/globe.   (08.13.11)
SUCCESS AND GOOD LUCK, with the realisation of your own, independant, free and sovereign palestinian state and with your wish for self-determination. FOR A FREE CANANITE/PALESTINIAN STATE AND FOR AN ENTIRE ONE FREE PEOPLE OF MANKIND!!!!!
42. #34 Applause to you...GA does have real powers
Nour ,   One-State   (08.13.11)
Sarah cares not for the fact that the UNGA paved way for the eradication of institutional apartheid in South Africa. That was in the early 80's, or a decade before SA's free and all-inclusive elections. She was too busy wetting her diapers when it happened.
43. #32 Are you out of your mind?
Nour ,   One-State   (08.13.11)
Maybe because Askalan (what you call Askhelow) was an Arab town prior to the genocide that occured in 1948? Ask Robert Haymond, your buddy from Canada, he acknowledged that the genocidal intervention was "necessary" - you bet was necessary, to establish a religiously pure "Jewish State" with immigrants from Europe. Get over it honey, Yaffa, Al-Nassra, Aqqa, Safad, Asqalan, Lyd, Ramleh, all part of Palestine. Open a book and study your own illegal state's history! Oh, pay particular attention to the Plan Dalet chapter! Specifically, you might want to read "Zionism: The Real Enemy of the Jews" by Alan Heart. Another good one is "The Invention of the Jewish People" by Shlomo Sand.
44. and... question to the settlers here...
eporue ,   europe   (08.13.11)
if its all about the ancient bible prophecies or about the historical jewish homeland and such things, over there in the occupied territories... WHY THEN, you settlers, dont you stop to EXPLOIT the israeli taxpayer, with all your goodies and benefits you cash in, day by day and month by month... just tell your government, you will be financially treated as any regular israeli ! i dont believe your "historical" stuff... its not plausible... you come across as people who are exploiting the regular israeli citizen... you are aware of it, and you dont want to end it... if you were "honest" and NOT JUST GREEDY, you would ask your goverment NOW, to tax you and treat you financially as every other israeli ! particulary NOW, when things are escalating ! why dont you do it ? greed ?
45. #36: Where have you been the past 2 years?
LebanonPride ,   Canada   (08.13.11)
Ohhhh, yeah I forgot you're still stuck in the mid-1990's....
46. September 20, 2011
LebanonPride ,   Canada   (08.13.11)
Mark it down on your calendars ladies and gentlemen! This is the day every Palestinian deserves. To get their lands and their homes back and their lives and freedoms! Inshallah!
47. I don't understand the Israeli hysteria over
seadog1946 ,   Arthur Kill, NJ   (08.13.11)
what the current Israeli administration considers a fruitless/pointless exercise by the Palestinians in the UNGA. Everyone "knows" how the UNSC will vote. Besides, it seems that most Israelis couldn't care less what the UN thinks.
48. to no.17-stein...
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (08.13.11)
Name one other place, "it" did happen before, Steiner..."Side by side"and "du- kiyum"? ! For decades we already live side by side with an enemy, who depends on our assistance for daily survival and who are vicious enough to never stop the attempt to innihilate us...It is in their charter, steiner ! Where do you get that notion of yours, that just as soon as UN proclaims their statehood, they will want to live in peace with the Jewish State? Side by side? As always, you float in a paralell universe, steiner... For Jews and palis to live side by side, for starters, it would require their recognition of the Jewis State, as a precondition. It takes a little more, then a delusional leftist demagogue, "talking to the wind his unsubstantiated wishful thinking. Your level of ignorance to historical facts is absolutely staggering...But then again, your reputation perceeds you...
49. #47: One word: denial
LebanonPride ,   Canada   (08.13.11)
Many right-wing Zionist/Israel supporters are denying the significance of this vote, denying the support Abbas clearly has, denying the support every Palestinians have with the international community. They try denying it, but they can't, and it scares them because now they need to play by the rules.
50. to no 49
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (08.13.11)
The more you flaunt your "pride" here , there more pathetic you appear...Israel is the only legal and sovereignity, obiding and ruled by Law.No one scares IDFand there is nothing to react to yet? I have been asking you for a long time to define the word "Zionism ? If you can't, l'll tell you...Your ignorance is really shocking...You are deeply clueless....
51. Israel is a no show to true history
Mark ,   N.Y.   (08.13.11)
Nour you are correct, sad to say this present day Jew has been riding the coattails of another peoples history for their existence and non-history in this land. "The invention of a Jewish People" So why can't the Palestinians declare a state and seek self govern in their own lives. Israel was not even established by its God.
52. Surprised they didn't choose Sept. 11th
William ,   Israel   (08.13.11)
it's already a date of celebration in their culture.
53. #3 - I agree with Nour - "Pals" are here to stay
William ,   Israel   (08.13.11)
in Ramallah, Nablus, and Gaza City...but that's about it.
54. #4 - You're saying you'd vote for apartheid?
William ,   Israel   (08.13.11)
Not surprising from racist Arabs (aka "palestinians"). Would you get the right to vote. Hahaha - um, no. You'd have limited autonomy, if anything. But I'd prefer you have your own State - so you can implode yourselves rather than focus on bringing down populations around you, like Jordan, Lebanon, and Israel.
55. #5 - Australia announced their vote was not sure
William ,   Israel   (08.13.11)
many other States have said the same thing...especially after Abbas insisted that having a State will not end the conflict nor their goal of replacing Israel. That has many Western States very concerned as their only goal is to end the stupid war once and for all, but not at the expense of a sovereign nation and its 7 million citizens.
56. #10 - not so sure
William ,   Israel   (08.13.11)
Though I don't agree with annexing all the West Bank (just the parts of large Jewish population), giving land ofr peace hasn't worked ever. Why? Because just existing is enough for Arabs to be upset and choose the path of violence, as Abbas has stated many times. With that in mind...why would you think shrinking back to Tel Aviv borders and hiding in coffee shops will make Israel strong and safe? It won't. Thank G-d for Zionists who care for the Jewish State while your ilk are trying to find a buyer for every other Israelis plot of land except your own.
57. #14 - bring a land deed, then we'll talk
William ,   Israel   (08.13.11)
and G-d help you if you're one of the illegal immigrants from 1930s or the forced illegal immigration under Jordan from 1949-1967 - both which need to be reversed for true justice and peace to be realized.
58. #17 - you may be a Jew, but you're no Zionist
William ,   Israel   (08.13.11)
and I say that by reading your ignorant post which indirectly places Israel as the obstacle to the 2-State solution rather than Abbas' demands for ALL land inside 1967 lines, including the Jewish holy sites, and his insistence that even with all demands met he'd still work to replace Israel. Hamas, a member of the unity govt, just comes out and says "Israel needs to be destroyed" - Stop. Now, if that is the peace you envisioned...I can see why you're hiding out in Bahrain, bowing to your new masters.
59. #19 - um, isn't that exactly what Abbas is proposing?
William ,   Israel   (08.13.11)
That not one Jew remains in the new "palestinian" State? Sounds a lot like ethnic cleansing to me but you'll find a way to justify it...just like when Arabs did the same in 1948. Jordan is now doing the same of "Palestinians" and the world...well, doesn't care. Same in Kuwait, Iraq, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria...ah, you get the point. Now, if "Palestinians" have a State and Israeli Arabs decide they want to live there or reunite with their family in Ramallah, and by that give up Israeli citizenship, that's fair and is a policy used by all sovereign nations around the world.
60. #24 - peace really should start with you..
William ,   Israel   (08.13.11)
the one's who began the war in the first place. Speaking of being ready for peace, wasn't it over 70% of "Palestinians" who stated in a poll that they either want to replace Israel NOW or believe a 2-State solution is a step to replacing Israel (and Jews) in the near future, and finally? Only 16% absolutely believed Israel should exist side-by-side in peace with Israel. Tells you something about who is, and is not, ready for peace...and a State.
