I read the article by Isi Leibler the other day. What you say in your post is true but you're taking Livni too seriously. Sure, she's a creep but more than that, she has made herself into an object of ridicule, she's a joke & should be taken as a joke, she's become a parody, someone to make fun of. Livini has done everything possible to undercut Israel and Netanyahu. She has gone back channel to urge the State Department and the White House to support the Palestinian bid. She is ambitious and unscrupulous. All Israelis should recognize that what she is doing is causing future Israeli deaths. She should be voted out of power in her party immediately. This is as close to treason as I've seen in a long time.

I feel that Mrs. Livni divides the country politically more than unites it. Her actions as opposition leader do not suggest an ability to lead, but rather to tear down. There's plenty to discuss on the table. The issue is Palestinian statehood, so get with the program and stop complaining.

I don't know if Livni is a good leader or not. However, the fact is that Bibi hasn't made any real attempt to renew negotiations with the PA. Abbas has no choice but to bring the issue of statehood to the UN. The result will be unnecesary hardships for Israel and the PA. It's very telling that the only comment supportive of Livni's stance so far comes from a consistently anti-Israel 'lebanon pride' (from Canada, of all places -lol). She will do anything to undermine Bibi. All she thinks about is herself. She doesn't give a toot for the country. Not one word of criticism directed against the PA and their faileure to show any sign of wanting to live in peace with Israel nor to negotiate. She couldn't make a deal even when Abbas was willing to talk to her with NO pre-conditions. Barak, Olmert and Livni all failed to make a deal and it's no accident. Abbas will never sign a deal that leaves Israel standing. The pre-conditions were Obama's "gifts" to Israel as an Israel-hater and they will end up undoing Mahmoud Abbas for his foolishness in going along with them.

Kadima offered Abbas more than even Barak and was turned down. What was left for Bibi to offer even if Abbas had not refused to talk to Bibi before he was sworn in?
