Galutia ,   Selah   (08.13.11)
Then when the traditional muslim HUDNA was over 7 years later she would hand them the key to the remaining land of israel... 67 boarders are not defencable period

Livni stop your bitchin ;and get back to your kitchen ; you have lost all your charm ; by causing your country harm ; there aint no valid reason ; To endure your constant treason ; you are like a very bad trip ;so Livni your mouth you should zip .
34. mrs. tzipi livni and her kadima-party.
(a) wonder ,   this world/globe.   (08.13.11)
if mrs. tzipi livni and her kadima-party would have the ruling/decision- power, the same palestinian initiative would have been taken place, as under/with a likud, yjsrael beiteinu etc. cabinet as at this moment in the middle eastern/western-asia world-region, i thought. (by the way young lady tzipi really knows how to dress elegantly and impressively, when she is photographed .fortunately iam a male and i like looking at her/i like to see her. i know that she is married and in this case for sure, her husband may/can be very pround of/with her, at my opinion).

where were you were when fire was allover the strip . you were in power .. nitenyahu is not better but you were the bitter
36. Someone drag Tzipi off stage. She's an Idiot
Joe K ,   silicon valley USA   (08.13.11)
The left has caused more harm to Israel than the right. Tzipi Livni sounds to me like an idiot, blaming Netanyahu for something he has no control over: Palestinian Irredentist Behavior. The Palis don't accept Israel as a Jewish State. There never has been anything to negotiate with them. I wish the Left would wake up and recognize the damage they do with their fantasies of a world where everyone holds hands around the campfire and sings kumbayah. The palis want us dead. Why cater to their wishes?
37. LebanonPride, of "ahem…Canada"

You must be young and very naïve or older and just plain un-educated. DA PRIDE! # 4 & 33, DA URBAN POET, SAFED a.k.a. ERIC, I recognize your style anywhere…thanks for the laughs
38. When is the next Kadima primary?
William ,   Virginia   (08.13.11)
Any chance Mofaz beats her this time around????
39. Livni siding with PA
Brod ,   USA   (08.13.11)
Instead of siding with Israel, Livni is siding with the PA wolves-usurpers. It is time she learns to defend Israel and its government. The fact is the Islamist-Jihadists will do whatever is evil against Israel. Their ultimate goal is to destroy Israel as loudly enshrined in their Charter, School Textbooks and Maps. It does not take rocket science to figure that out. Clearly, Leftism poses a danger to Israel.
40. LIVNI IS BEYOND HELP
SUGMUND FREUD ,   VIENNA   (08.13.11)
Even I ,the great Sigmund ,can not help this crazy and hysterical woman .Not to mention that she is a TRAITOR.
41. Can't Kadima find a better leader?
Sidney ,   USA   (08.13.11)
She has only one real issue, she thinks that she should be PM and therefore the current government is illegitimate. As for the PA, it will do anything in its power to hurt Israel. Appeasement would be stupid.
42. Oh Bibi...
seadog1946 ,   Arthur Kill, NJ   (08.13.11)
your constant calls for never ending fruitless/pointless direct negotiations are so very transparent. Everyone knows that you would never agree to anything that would disappoint or detract from Benzion Mileikowsky's zionist wet dream of a greater Israel. You should realize that time, demographics and Israeli arrogance are not on your side.

no.1 and number 2 . As the holy master rav Shlomoh would say we need more haligeh yidden like you.and all the other holy brothers who care about their people. We dont need the judenratLIvni however I think Lieberman is the best answer.
44. Livnis main backer
abe the babe ,   USA-ISRAEL   (08.13.11)
So livni has at least 1 backer namely Lebanon pride. Well that just is one more reason why we who are Israel pride need to throw the bum out,
45. Livni should keep quiet
Rosie   (08.13.11)
She is a nasty and STUPID woman and should just keep her mouth shut. She would do everyone a big favor.
46. Livni has only two neurons
Bob96 ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (08.13.11)
If we crack open Livnis' skull and take a look at what's left of her brain, we would find only TWO neurons. Yet those two allow her to function in automatic mode, like this: 1) If Netanyahu says or does anything, slam it! (even if he sings the Hatikva) and 2) If anything happens in the whole world, blame Bibi! So, you see, with those 2 fixed rules, she always know what to say, without the effort of thinking. BTW, because of that, if she ever receives a shot in the head, her chances of surviving unscathed are excelent, because there's almost nothing in there to be damaged!

Shaul R ,   Portland, USA   (08.13.11)
I must say that your posts are pretty tiresome in their repetitiveness and utter lack of any insight, and I normally simply ignore them as such, as do most other Ynet talkbackers. Here, too, you remain true to form: your entire post is loaded with terms and statements, as well as based on assumptions, that are nothing more than willful disinformation. I will only bother with your central point: "never ending fruitless/pointless direct negotiations" - they are only such if the other side approaches negotiations with complete lack of good faith, not willing to compromise one iota while expecting Israel to make all the concessions. From your point of view, negotiations will stop being 'pointless, fruitless and never-ending' only if Israel agrees to all of PA's maximalist demands PRIOR to entering the negotiations. That is called 'capitulation', not 'negotiation' (look up the terms in a dictionary.) I think even you might have the intellectual honesty to concede that there is absolutely no reason for Israel, the stronger party which holds all the cards, to engage in this type of 'negotiations'. At least the PA does - hence their attempts to subvert the narrative, co-opt the 'international community' on their side to pressure Israel into endless concessions, and this latest stunt - the plans for a unilateral declaration of state at the UN. seadog, consider peddling your mendacious lies and nonsense elsewhere. Here everyone is quite familiar with what you have to say and very few are buying it. You are just shooting blanks, fella.

50. livni and nasrollah
alexi   (08.14.11)
tzipi, you cannot erase that you were with olmert and did not resign when he did not take your advice for a ceasfire early in the affair.YOu sat with him and watched like mofaz, 2 dumbbells as olmert was oy vehing casualties and my god what should i do. As margalit said, olmert was totally unqualified to handle the job. On the other hand, your advice was not bad but you still sat with olmert as he screwed up everything and you let him make concessions on the right of return. In all of this, you do not merit the PM job. And your views of the arabs does not jive with reality. You were never near peace as the arabs only have armistices in their bones. In short, you are a dumb zippora, no way around it.
51. Pathetic and Insulting
Ehai ,   London, England   (08.14.11)
I find the Kadima argument as advanced by Livni quite pathetic and grossly insulting to the Israeli people in general. This seems like an attempt to scare Israelis into turning against the government of Netanyahu and instead supporting Kadima. I smell politicians trying to get their hands on the national purse. It is the same old story all over the world but Israelis are not stupid and this bid by Livni might be her undoing as Chairperson of Kadima. I believe the Palestinian attempt at independent nation status is badly conceived at this juncture of Palestinian / Israeli relations but ..... I also perceive it will put Hamas into a position of being caught between a rockand a hard place. They will be faced with the ultimatum of abandoning armed struggle and this be a demand coming from within Fatah too. The old molds are being broken everywhere and new kinds of people consensus are being cast everywhere in the world these days. Can it be this will be how Palestinians find their new consensus?
52. No #41, It Can't....
Erich   (08.14.11)
Kadima has only two notable "achievements" it can point to: the disastrous, divisive expulsion of the Jews from Gaza and the disastrous, divisive failure to defeat Hezbollah in 2006. Kadima and Livni (aka the Kvetcher-in-Chief) deserve each other, as they both bereft of accomplishments and both bereft of ideas.
53. Israel needs union.
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (08.14.11)
I think, as a friend, that Israel needs, today, to be united. I don't want to discuss about your Prime Minister or about the refered opposition's leader. I only ask you to remember countries like Britain during II World's War (Churchill and Attlee). From distant Latin America, I see your State endangered toward world's opinion. Don't despise it. Above the political parties and above political men and women, there are the permanent national interests. God bless you.
54. Which Vision ?
Adam Neira ,   Melb, Australia   (08.14.11)
All the commentators and armchair analysts are missing the point, as are many politicians. What is the divinely mandated vision for the Holy Land ? Where does the State of Israel, Judea and Samaria/The West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt and Saudi Arabia fit in the bigger picture ? I repeat... Which vision for the Holy Land does G-d want to prevail ? (a) A Kingdom based on courage, vision and trust building. (b) Israel/Palestine Two State Solution with strange land bridges etc. (c) Israel/Settlertown versus Arab World/Gaza-Wesbankistan. (d) Total systemic collapse. (e) Militaristic Zionist Crusader State besieged on all fronts. Sorry to have to tell everyone but only (a) is going to work. If the word Kingdom bothers you, think of it as a Special Regime idea with a CEO if that is more palatable. There is a way for clear lines of communication and command to be worked out. Everyone can have their boundary of responsibilities laid out. A meritocracy is far more appealing than a charmocracy. Everything is coming to a head. Where is the crown right now ?
55. Well I'm sure we could all *believe* a great deal
Ypip ,   Canada   (08.14.11)
while Gaza bombards us into a coma. She's imagining the prime minister with her beliefs. Golda *knew* how to deal with such believers. That is why Israel still exists.
56. Buy Her a One Way Ticket Out
Noah Lev ,   HollywoodUSA   (08.14.11)
Livni, you are no Golda. Stop trying to act like a diplomat. You are nothing more than a politician, to a fault. You still resent not being P.M. and it showes all over you. I have watched with disgust your career, when in the USA you faulted your bosses on local PBS TV shows. What do you hope to achieve? If Bibi had given everything Abbas wanted, including all of Israel to the 67 borders, no IDF presence in the W. Bk, an army including tanks, planes; the ability to make treaties (military) with Israel's enemies, the Golan returned to Syria w/o any recognition, and 1m Muslims returning to the homes of their parents and grandparents, Abbas would have demanded more and more and more. Next demand, all Jews who migrated to Israel after 47, return to their homelands. Or, 5m Muslims under the right of return living behind the green line. She doesnt get it. Israel vacated Lebanon, yet Hez said its about Israel itself. 22 settlements were abandoned and Hamas created military camps for their jihadist youth. Livni didnt say one word at the Annapolis Conference ( the Arabs boycotted her). My advice, give her 24hrs to leave Israel...or put her on a one way flight to Florida..where she can retire in splendid fasion, soaking up the sun and drinking selzer with the oldsters. But to be honest, she is more dangerous than Barghouti..she inspires Israel's enemies..and gives them encouragement. She is terribly divisive. She is your Jane Fonda, and Axis Sally.
57. Strange that most commentators are Zionists !!!!!!!
Samer ,   Ramallah   (08.14.11)
Does that mean most of Israelis are radicals and anti peace??? It's really strange? I have more than 50 Israeli friends and I never saw any one of them being that radical !!! Here, at YNET, all comments are originated from Radicals Israelis !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! where are the peace supportes? none???
58. Tzipi is a parakeet

60. ever the opportunist
zionist forever   (08.14.11)
She knows full well the fact Abbas is going to the UN has more to do with his ego and desire to be the Middle East hard man and his desire for a legacy before the presidential elections in November ( 2 years late ) which he is not standing in. Livni thinks the protestors might bring down Bibi's government and she wants to create an image for herself as the woman who cares about social justice and peace ( which we don't have because Bibi has rejected it ). This country is heading for big trouble. The next election will almost certainly be a far left Labor government with Livni trying to position herself as a leftist and alternative to Labor. Ah well we may as well make the most of the time this government has left before we adopt the Obama policies of borrow to spend and appease the arabs and muslims at all cost. Where is the Tea Party when Israel needs them?
