tom ,   toronto, canada   (08.14.11)
israel should be actively pursuing a strategy of "proxy warfare" to weaken iran. almost all of iran's neighbors feel threatened by iran's military adventurism, but could use a little help defending themselves. this is a perfect opportunity to create "quiet" alliances against a common enemy. let's hope this is the start of a promising new pattern.
6. AHMEDINEJAD NOW ALONE !!

ASSAD HIS ALLY NOW STRUGGLING TO SAVE HIS HEAD AND ERDOGAN CHANGING OF CAMP HE IS ALONE TO CONFRONT NATO KURDS AND ISRAEL
7. #3 Don't get too cocky
Josh B ,   Rehovot Israel   (08.14.11)
Sarah, you must be kidding. I don't know where you live in Israel, but it's in range of Hezbollah rockets now. Do you remember 2006? The IDF operated in Lebanon for a month, ran out of munitions, and the rockets kept falling. Likewise for Operation Cast Lead. The next time, Hezbollah and Hamas will have a nearly infinite supply of rockets, and Tel Aviv and the rest of the Mercaz will be hit. Then you'll see what panic really is.
8. LAUGHABLE
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (08.14.11)
Well, look at the source, Case Closed. BTW, "According to Ahmadinejad, “We have a saying in our language: If someone throws a smaller stone (at you), you should respond with a bigger stone" Impressive saying, if your in the 2nd grade!

Seriously these are dangerous times, but those 18 million or so kurds need to carve themselves out a homeland from the bellies of Iran, Iraq and Turkey. Support the IDF!

Thankyou Israel for helping and protecting the Iraqi Kurds.Hopefully now Iran and turkey will think twice before trying to impose their will on the Kurdish people.Bravo.

One possible solution is having dual nationalities like Sarah B. When missiles are falling, we can take shelter else where....
15. iraq, kudistan.
(a) wonder ,   in the free world   (08.15.11)
zionism (and it"s weapons-arsenal) has nothing to do in iraq and kurdistan etc. zionism has only mind it"s own zionistic business. the same for the us(-administration), which has to mind it"s own us-business within it"own us-territory. to solve differences between countries/peoples is a duty, task and a job for/of the un. that"s a reason why the un has been established in 1945.
16. #7 I say you should pack up and leave
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (08.15.11)
You soud defeated anyway. Yes, we'll have to pay a heavy price, but we have no other solutions at this point. Offer a solution or kindly, do not post negative garbage.
17. I like A'jad's saying...
William ,   Israel   (08.15.11)
"We have a saying in our language: If someone throws a smaller stone (at you), you should respond with a bigger stone." I like this saying... So, according to A'jad's family, Israel was doing the right thing by hitting both Lebanon and Gaza hard after unilateral attacks on Israel's citizens. So why does the world, including Iran, claiming Israel was acting disproportionately?
18. Accepts drones in return for Israeli university acceptance?
William ,   Israel   (08.15.11)
Guess they never heard of On-Line classes before. Perhaps Massoud Barzani should consider University of Phoenix.
19. #14 - don't worry, Avi. Soon enough...
William ,   Israel   (08.15.11)
you'll have a "Palestinian" passport with all of the giving of Israeli land away and warm support you're handing Abbas. Thing is...that won't help you either. All we ask is that you don't get in the way of all of the brave Israelis flying into Ben Gurion to fight while you're rushing to fly out.
20. #15 - the UN hasn't helped anyone since 1945
William ,   Israel   (08.15.11)
Perhaps you should ask people in Kurdistan, Basque, Tibet, Western Sahara, Kashmir, etc. what they think about the UN's ability to do anything. Millions of have died and the UN keeps tripping over themselves. Add to that the many incidents of rape and extortion of the vulnerable by UN forces in Africa and SE Asia, the aiding of enemies against their own resolution in S. Lebanon and Saddam's Iraq. Their house if rife with corruption and politicization, and they allow themselves to be swayed by blocs who align to take over UN organizations and votes, an act that is against the very purpose of the UN's creation in the first place. You're such a sad specimen. You still believe in the ideology of the UN after its purpose has worn out and many global citizens have given up on that changing.
21. As I recall
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (08.15.11)
Iran was business a couple of weeks ago shelling Kurdish villages in Iraq. Now they're whining because the Kurds might be seeking protection from the Iranian terrorists. I doubt that 6 drones will be enough to stop them, but who knows. Those are Iranians and everybody already knows that they couldn't even beat Iraq and those were the worst soldiers in the Middle East.
22. This is a lie
Alan ,   UK   (08.15.11)
Iranian propaganda. Mosul city is under full Baghdad control, how can Barzani offer an airbase there? Kirkuk status is un-determined and the airbase there is understand American control so again how can Barzani offer it to Israel? Ahmeds saying is stupid and the reason 'university spot' is even more stupid becuase Kurdistan has educational agreements with EU,US,Russia and other Asian countries.
23. When
jaredsparks ,   philadelphia usa   (08.15.11)
When will Israel allow outsiders to inspect its nuclear facilities? Hmmm?
24. In Iran ...Ahmadenijad says
JamesPhiladelphia ,   Philadelphia, USA   (01.18.12)
Ahmadenijad the shortest wild dictator ever, says emphatically that there are no homosexuals in Iran. So there is an Iranian saying little stone little stone do not roll that fast. The truth is that he is going to receive a bigger blow than a little stone. Ahmadenijad gets very testy when his height is questioned. But it is required so he can hide under the squirt of Ayatollah Khameini. in Yidish we say ich hob him indrerd.
