1. So far ...

... it doesn't look like a "social justice movement", but rather like a coup a-la "colored revolution": lots of noise, empty slogans, trying to present the Prime Minister as a Nazi, provoking the police, etc. The author of this article will not fool anyone. This is a foreign plot to overthrow democratically elected government, using false slogans. The Russians had seen it before in 1917. It was called "Socialist Revolution", the bloodiest experiment in the history of mankind.
2. Agreed and the tent cities are growing here in Karmiel

Cheers,
3. Leftism and socialism
Israeli 2   (08.15.11)
is NOT zionism. Zionism is concentrating on All of Zion. All of Jerusalem. All of Israel. Please do not link your protests with Zionism. Nice try though.
4. Social protest=Zionism?
m   (08.15.11)
Maybe you should refresh your knowledge of what Zionism means. This is not whacky thinking, it's plain stupido.
5. God help us if this is the finest...
nva ,   jerusalem   (08.15.11)
..Israel has to offer. Zionism? I don't think so. Zionism, as Meir Indor has correctly stated is "not to make demands of the state, but to contribute to it." This protest is all about me, me and what i can get not what i can give. Embarrassing and shameful. Nuriel, you balk at removing tents on Rothschild but did you try to stop the destruction of homes and communities and lives in Gush Katif??
6. Don't stop the press....
Ayeush ,   Gibraltar   (08.15.11)
Sorry, I might be mistaken by Mr. Nuriel must have yet another addition to his incomplete Article. He mixing too many metaphors, but I should be very careful, maybe he is going to explain what he means by "We (hmmmmm) ...found Zionism we (again who are we?!) almost lost. Judaism is has been teaching us about solidarity and Zedek (with Zedaka) Zedek Tirdof, as my late father always told all the bunch of us, sons and daughter and grand children. It is Judaism in its full explosion that the Young Israelis have finally discovered. One of the greatest 'beefes' of the Tent People was the mediocrity of the Educational System of Israel, currently devolving all of the value systems from its schedules. These events and others prior to them have brought us back to the elementary principles of what it means to be a Jew, and to love the Land of Israel.
7. The Message
Philip ,   Afula, Israel   (08.15.11)
OK folks we got the message ,now elect your leaders , publish your platform and join the others in the politics of the Israeli version of democracy game. Just remember this is where filth meets ideology so learn fast the rules of reality.Otherwise it was just good summer teenage fun and nothing more.
8. Setting up a straw man argument.

No one has even suggested that this ''Woodstock'' tent protest should be forcibly removed. As long as the protesters act responsibly & there is no violence, they can demonstrate as long as they like. It goes without saying that bad behavior cannot be tolerated & unruly individuals removed. I'd like to know the connexion between these tent-protesters & Zionism. Smells like BS to me. All in all, a pretty poor article. If memory serves, I recall an article by this same author which said something to the effect that everyone hates us because Israelis were so ill-behaved overseas. I wasn't impressed by that article either.
