Calling Christians in general as religious fanatics is not all will advance his cause. My first assessment about the ripping incident is that he has an emotional problems with Christians and Christianity.

If you are a man and need long hair to get attention (and that is not enough) add makeup like a girl (and unoriginally looking like KISS) and even if that is not enough and you need to tear a book holy to some people... you are in deep need of help.
