1. apologies to erdogan and assad
alexi   (09.01.11)
assad shows the way to bibi by telling erdogan to kiss his ass. Historically,t he jews are still a conflicted people suffering spasms of the weak shtetl jew most recently exemplified by olmert, beillin and peres, barak, turgeman, weisglass, livni and even fuad deluding themselves that concessions will buy long term peace when in fact they do the opposite. The other problem is the self humiliation that these guys indulge in which is dangerous to israeli sovereignty. Bibi is prone to this as he is nervous about making serious decisions- in fact he hates making such decisions but at least he defers to his group of 8 yet he depends too much on barak. take apage out of assad and I'll do it. Dovetogolu and erdogan-no apology and kiss my ass. Go to your plan B and even if you are our enemy as fuad feared, we will deal with it. Except no drones, no military trade, no security , no cooperation. And israel will deal with greece, cyprus, and kurdistan.
2. while we are at it.....
Mattan ,   Merritt Island, USA   (09.01.11)
should jews apologize to the world for being alive? the old jews of the ghettos are long gone. the world has to learn to accept and fear the proud jews of today. if you poke a lion with a stick, you must accept the deadly bite that is sure to follow.
3. Plan B: Treat Israel like Armenians?
Sam   (09.01.11)
Typical bullies and gangster mentality. They don't want an apology they want submission and groveling. Even our spine challenged leadership couldn't bring themselves to debase the country enough to gain Turkish favor.
4. What's "Plan B"? An apology from Erdogan?

Ooooh, this sounds really scary. What will you do? stop us coming on holiday to Turkey? Let's hear you elaborate on B. Maybe it's Bullshit, Bollocks,Baloney Bacon ??? The suspense is killing us.
7. Armenia
ed ,   israel   (09.01.11)
We'll apologise if they apologise gor the Armenian genocide
8. concerning Turkey....
Gabriel ,   Leiden, Netherlands   (09.01.11)
What threat do they really pose? They benefit more from Israel than the other way around. Half of their army consists of Israeli equipment,so halt shipping I'd say. They are already obliged by NATO decree to fight terror (as far as that means something, when you think about their participation in this freedom flotilla) and forbidden by that very same decree to launch any attack on their own, apart from the fact that Israel's main ally, the US is the world's dominant power and also the most prominent part of NATO. Perhaps Israel would do well to start championing kurdish and armenian rights? That would really annoy them, but it would prove them to be the cynic hypocrites they are.
9. Ultimatum
(09.01.11)
"Either Israel apologizes or we will be forced to act as our Muslim allies and start shooting our own citizens. You have been warned"
10. My personal ultimatum
Dr.Mikail Avraham ,   Israel   (09.01.11)
I have the possibility to live and work in the US: Even though I prefer to stay and live in Israel, I WILL move (this year) to the US, if Israel decides to apologize to these scumbags! Done deal.
11. Davitoglu is barking like a scared puppy
BH ,   Iowa   (09.01.11)
Time to go on offense.
12. What does the report say?
Michael Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (09.01.11)
As far as we know, it upholds the legality of the blockade and declares attempts to break the blockade illegal. That puts Turkey in the wrong for supporting the flotilla, so where is the threat?
13. Feh. Bring it on.
Shai ,   Modiin   (09.01.11)

Thats An Interesting Proposal.
18. New Turkish Diplomacy? - Apologise or else?
Tim ,   Brighton   (09.01.11)
Quite quite bizarre! One would have thought that both parties could quite easily agree a form of words acceptable to both..yet Davutoglu in particular seems to want to string out this tiresome squabble as if he has nothing better to do... And I dont know one Turk or Jew who wants Turkey Israel relations to deteriorate or stagnate. Good relations are beneficial to both as well as a force for stability in the region PS: Have you noticed how 'Diddy' Davutoglu is beginning to look more like a besuited Ahmadinejad Entity every day?
19. The mouse farted! SOOOO?
Eran ,   Singapore   (09.01.11)
20. NO apology toTurkey
Anna M Sedda ,   Rome-Italy   (09.01.11)
Turkey is arrogant and is taking advantage of middle east unrest to gain the upper hand in the region.. Israel has no reason to apologize to anyone, less than less to Turkey;viceversa it is Turkey that gave access to flotilla terrorist to test Israel;do not bend to Turkey Israel has nothing to apologize for
21. Before the Palmer report is published
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (09.01.11)
He wants an apology before the Palmer report is published because he knows very well that once the Palmer report indicates that Israel had the right to defend the legal blockade he will now have a strong basis to ask for an apology. Only one more day to roar for Davutoglu.
22. apology for what?
moron ,   galut   (09.01.11)
turks will do as they wish since apology is empty gesture anyway
23. genocide
Kathleen ,   Bar Harbor, USA   (09.01.11)
I agree that the Turkish government should acknowledge the Armenian genocide and apologize and strive to make amends, just as Israel should acknowledge the violent and illegal attack on the flotilla and apologize and make amends. Israel has never formally acknowledged the ethnic cleansing of Palestine in 1947-48, nor the ongoing attempts to drive the Palestinian people from their homes in the occupied territories. Israel lacks the moral standing to criticise Turkey regarding the Armenians when they have taken the same resonse to their own actions against the Palestinians. Acknowledging that one's actions are wrong and striving to make amends is a sign of strength not weakness as others have stated. It takes far more courage to admit one is in the wrong than to simply threaten harm to anyone who who dares to challenge you. Bullies are not generally known for their courage, but rather for their disproportionate numbers and support. Should the US ever really commit itself to upholding human rights and international law Israel would no longer have a super power to hide behind and might be more apt to consider moral actions rather than "might makes right".
24. Apology or else....
Spencer ,   Israel   (09.01.11)
If I may be bold enough to answer on Israel's behalf, Israel chooses the "or else" which is "Kiss my arse Turkey".
25. Turkey will not survive the AKP
arshile gorky ,   nyc, usa   (09.01.11)
"no problems" w/ neighbors policy = many problems with syria, iraq, iran, israel, armenia, greece, cyprus. not to mention the nation of Kurdistan, which will take a hefty chunk of land the turks claim as theirs. and so turkey starts its swirling flush down the toilet, where it belongs
26. Lets go too plan. C . Let them go and
Eric.... ,   Israel...   (09.01.11)
jump in the lake.We do not need the Turks, they need us much more.Look at there hotels, they are begging us too come too Turkey. The Greek islands are great.
27. Israel should appologize not letting Turkey to succeed......
Asher ,   NY,USA   (09.01.11)
but before that Turkey owes a big appology to Armanian,Kurds and to Syrian people not capable of doing anything for them and Assad did not give a damn to Turkeys' threats.... The only way Erdogan can gain back some of it lost credibilites is only if Israel saves his face......
28. Turk
Bobby ,   Canada   (09.01.11)
You can take my apology and shove up your smelly Turkish ASS
29. mobilize the reserves
zionist forever   (09.01.11)
Erdogan has a plan B time to panic he is going to destroy us is we don't apologize. Apologizing would be an admission of guilt and Israel has committed no crimes either morally or under international law. Despite claims of piracy boarding the ship in international waters was legal under international law under the Helsinki Principles which allows ships to be boarded in international water if they are suspected of trying to breach a legal blockade. The Gaza blockade was legal and they had been warned told to turn back or dock in Ashdod for cargo inspection for days but they refused. They were not there to deliver humanitarian aid that was the excuse but the reason they were there was to breach the blockade for the sake of politics and nothing else. The commandos were armed with paintball guns to keep casualties to a minimum but they were met with an armed mob. The crime would have been if the commandos didn't use their real guns and risked being killed or injured. If the roles were reveresed I would like to see Turkey taking the kind of efforts Israel did to avoid a serious confrontation. We should demand Erdogan apologize because he did nothing to try and stop the ships setting sail.
30. apology ultimatum
