Zouabi was caught on video telling IDF doctors trying to evacuate the wounded that she is an MK and she is ordering the doctors leave them because they don't want to leave the ship. Before she knew about the video she was saying how she was one of the first to help with evacuations. It is very interesting how people like Zoabi will jump on any decision by the U.N. that is against Israel but whenever there is a decision by any U.N. body that is even partially supportive of an Israeli position, they will downplay it or outright reject it. Zoabi isn't the only one. The Turkish PM has done the same viv-a-vis the Palmer report. And there are other Israelis who do the same thing. One wonders if they realize their inconsistencies.

Even if Zoabi is tried for tr4eason, which I doubt, you would have to wait an eternity for her date with the hangman. The only crime in Israel punishable by the death penalty is crimes against humanity and treason does not, in the legal world, come under that category. At the most, she could be given a life sentence - AFTER her parliamentary immunity is removed by the Knesset, which is also problematical. In any event, she still has parliamentary immunity and I have not heard of a move to strip her of that.
