Protesters don't bothered by *their* taxes. They want other people's taxes. Basically the core of they demand - they don't want to work, but they do want the same "dignity" as the people who do work. It's middle class who will end up paying for protesters iPhones, apartments in Tel-Aviv downtown and university tuition. I immigrated to Israel 2 years ago. I left in the year 2000 and back in 2008. The salaries are even lower now. I got offers from the high-tech sectors of 10.000 nis a month for 9 hours. I just said no thanks, because you cannot live with that.
