David H ,   Marietta USA   (09.07.11)
Those pathetic people will never learn
2. US is disdainful of everyone -even themselves
Rebecca ,   Modiin   (09.07.11)
Obama insults just about everyone. He's even insulted the USA by apologizing for being an American.
3. rabbo as usual is full of merde
alexi   (09.07.11)
there he goe with his stern life ending pronouncements, this piece of garbage who scared yossi weakling beilin into concessions and geneva institute proposal, now rails against the most arab leaning president in US history. well rabbo doesn't bother me. He is shmutz along with shaath and both of them should be dealt with for their incitement and disturbing the civil peace.
4. if America likes it or not,
Salma ,   Palestine   (09.07.11)
The Palestinian state is not just a Palestinian concern, It's a global concern !
5. Salma
moshe ,   Tivon< Israel   (09.07.11)
question: What world do pals live on ? answer: the Arab world, that knows full well the "truth" of the pals. Once the Arab world reasoned with brute force as used in Syria. I hope that the Arab Spring has seen the last of such "reasoning". pals and Arab countries have made war, killed thousands, resorted to UNguided rocket firings into Israel, suicide bombers, tried to crash the Gaza blockade ...all to avail... pal Loses not only wasted lives and energy, but trashed Israeli willingness to take further chances on-so-called peace talks. pals have thus used 80% of their chances, will they squander another 8% on the UN ploy, then 0.8% on some other ploy? 100-80-8-0.8 = 11.2% of pal chances left moshe
6. No4/ little kids also believe
John ,   Tel-Aviv   (09.07.11)
that if they close their eyes - it will be dark for everyone. The world has enough to worry about as it is, take care of your self Salma, this aint'a kindergarten, grow up. Tell us frankly - who would notice you if your enemies were not Jews, but your Arabs, like it was in Lebanon in the 70-s?
7. #4 Salma, no it's not
Rachel ,   US   (09.07.11)
8. the opposite
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (09.07.11)
The Arabs are the ones showing disdain to the US. The Arabs promised the US to abide by the agreements they signed. By breaking their promises, the Arabs are proving that the US is a bag of hot hair that is incapable of guaranteeing anything.
9. Mr. Rabbo, it's called trying to save the peace process..
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (09.07.11)
from your propaganda and terrorism.
10. Also, I love the picture of Obama accompanying the story.
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (09.07.11)
11. #4 I second that Salma
Nour ,   One-State   (09.07.11)
I recall once Sarah B (or any of her sheepish followers here) called the Palestinian issue a "marginal" issue unworthy of world attention. On anoher occasion Zionist Forever claimed that the Arab regional uprisings against injustice and inequity would "distract the Arab world and the world at large" and make them forget the Palestinian issue altogether. Boy were they wrong! And now probably hiding their heads in the dirt.
12. Duh.
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.07.11)
Please give me one -- JUST ONE -- reason why anyone should not be scornful of Arabs. Just one.
13. To: No. 4
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.07.11)
So, where on the globe are you planning to put your fictional state? Because it is not going to happen in Judea and Samaria, and sooner or later, Israel will take back Gaza and the Sinai. How do you feel about, oh, say, the Hejaz in the Western Arabian desert? Perfect, isn't it? That's where most of you come from ..... not Akko. Not Jaffa. Not Jerusalem. Not Ramallah. Sorry, chica -- no place for you in Medinat Israel.
14. hahahaha Global BS
Salma? ,   WORLD   (09.07.11)
15. Only if...
DonnyH ,   Israel   (09.07.11)
1) You have any intentions of threatening the whole world. I.E: Islamic terrorism in many forms. Such as Al-Qaida and Hamas-Iran. 2) You plan to BDS the rest of the world if you are not met with ridiculous, one-sided demands to form a new Arab state. 3) You have enough ignorant people around the world to protest in favor of something they truly know nothing about.
16. US showing disdain for Arabs
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (09.07.11)
With good reason.
17. # 4 If America
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (09.07.11)
Salma ! Some state you are going to have, you are a basket case,if not for the infidels in Europe,USA and Israel, you would be all starving, because all your energy is directed toward one goal, the destruction of Israel,in free elections,Hamas will win easily in the west bank, while the fat cats of Hamas will enjoy the good life, the people will continue to suffer, but they wouldn't mind, as long as Hamas will fire rockets at Israel,in the Arab world emotions prevail over reason.
18. Only BIG ISRAEL can bring balance and freedom to ME.
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (09.07.11)
19. A Working Economy
Yonatan Koss   (09.07.11)
One of the basic laws for forming a new nation is that it must show it has a stable working economy. The Arabs of Judea and Samaria have no economy except for the money that is given to them by the world. What do they export? Unless they can show an active vibrant government and economy they are nothing more than the largest consumers of world welfare on the planet. The guidelines of the UN are very clear on new nation status and the false economy of the proposed Palestinian nation certainly doesn't meet that requirement or even approach any threshold of a self sustaining economy. The entire process is more akin to violent street gangs from Los Angeles California wanting to take the enclaves of South LA and make a new nation under their gang law and expect the entire world to pay their salaries. The only thing different is the PA has much better weapons and a religious ideology.
20. the world hate Arabs for centuries...
yazeed   (09.07.11)
Britain colonized Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, and the rest of the GCC, France colonized Algeria, Syria and Lebanon. Europeans created israel and are deleting palestine off the map... I don't know who is attacking who...... Arabs are the ones who have always been attacked... had the Palestinians had good army, you would've not seen terrorist attacks, but an army that fights the IDF back.... We are people with no good armies... we have armies that kill the people, and not used for self defense.... Arabs should have one kingdom from Morocco to Iraq, Syria to Yemen.... as it has always been the case from 600 AD to 1700 AD... Turks, Persians, and Israelis are slicing and eating our lands while we are watching..... The west divided us into artificial boundaries, created artificial countries, distorted our history.... and want us to sit and watch...
21. Disdainful?
Yakov ,   Tel Aviv   (09.07.11)
The question really is reputation. Would you want Syria, or Iran, or Lebanon, or any number of similar type states moving in next door? I think nothing more than common sense would force anyone to skeptically view a new country ruled by known terrorists. This is not disdain, this is common sense.
22. YNET- WHY MUST YOU SHOW
jl ,   galos   (09.07.11)
that lugubrious picture of President Obama on your homepage?? he's a sharp dresser (i believe 'swagga' is the term) -- Fans or not, you can do him one better.
23. Saner Heads Must Prevail
Douglas Fireman ,   Chicago, USA   (09.07.11)
"This shows not only disdain for the Palestinian position, but also scorn for what is happening in the Arab region a state of revival seeking justice for the Arab peoples and justice for the whole region." Popular uprisings have toppled Arab autocrats in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya this year." Justice for the Palestinians? Hamas and terrorist organizations have not only exploited their people's rights and freedoms, but they have derailed peace in the region time and time and again. Leadership simply do not possess the requirements for statehood. Hamas, the numerous terrorist factions, Syria, and Iran, dedicated to the destruction of Israel, are directly responsible for this. Witness the bombs and mortars that have fallen on Israel in the last few months. Witness the terrorist attack near Eilat, Witness the numerous terrorist cells that had planned attacks in Jerusalem. Too much time has been spent on the up coming bid for a Palestinian state, and very little time dealing with the maniacal governments of Syria, Turkey, and Iran. Saner heads must prevail in the UN. A Palestinian State must not be granted until all Palestinians are ready to recognize Israel's right to exist in the region, period.
24. #2 Obama and the USA
Helene   (09.07.11)
..... then why doesn't obama go back to his black country of Kenya and be president there? he actually shouldn't even be living in the USA. If he truly does not want the USA, help him go back home to his own country, among his own kind where he is bound to be happy again.
25. World Unity: BIG ISRAEL, co-existent Islam iso Islamism.
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (09.07.11)
26. #4;Salma #11; Nour, THE TWINS
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (09.07.11)
Actually the world doesn't really care, the "global concern" is because of the terrorism thrust upon the world. For the self inflicted problems of the Pals. For instance here in the USA, the last Gallop Poll taken in February of this year. Found that Israel had a 63% favorable rating, while the Palestinians had a 17% favorable rating. Not exactly overwhelming support here, is it? The bid at the UN this month, will be vetoed by the USA, and they won't be alone, will they? So what's the next PR move? BTW how will the failed bid help the people? Will it create jobs? Improve the infrastructure (i.e. sewers, water treatment, roads etc.)? Or will you just fall back on more rocket attacks?
27. #20 - "Arabs are the ones who have been attacked"
William ,   Israel   (09.07.11)
Since the 7th century, Arabs have been on the rampage against everybody else. Had you not had oil, you would have been isolated long ago. Get ready for the same in 40 years.
28. #26 - Nour believes "Palestine" is a global issue
William ,   Israel   (09.07.11)
Funny, I agree with you, Mark. We all remember when the earthquake hit Haiti and the world turned their attention to help save lives there, the Gazans complained they lost the world's attention even for a short time. Despite being fat and happy, flush with cash and their own UN agency, free education and decent healthcare, they still felt slighted that the world would dare to rush in aid to help the 3 million displaced people of Haiti and help stop the rise and spread of disease. The world just wants to put this issue to bed so they can move on to real problems in the world, but the "Palestinians" keep reminding them that no matter what they receive, the war will continue until Israel is destroyed. One day, the world will just move on and Israel can annex the settlements and hand the rest to Jordan, with compliments.
29. "US" and Rabbo deserve an Academy Award
Sue ,   Los Angeles   (09.07.11)
for their performances in acting out this script written by the Obama administration which is designed to show American Jews that Obama (get out your handkerchiefs) really, really tried to stop the UN vote and in the process, was even criticized as being anti-Arab! - Therefore, US Jews are asked to please continue to mail their checks to the Re-elect Obama in 2012 campaign. Believe me, when (not if) the UN votes in favor of "Palestine" there will be a celebration in the White House with champagne corks popping.
30. #20 yazeed. Learn history
Phil ,   Ireland   (09.07.11)
You say "Europeans created Israel and are deleting palestine off the map". Palestine was never a country. It was a region named by the Romans, who happened to be European, in the first century. So Palestine was created by Europeans! Although most European countries voted in favour of the establishment of Israel in 1947, most of the countries voting in favour were not European. So Europeans did not "create" Israel. Israel's legitimacy is found in history where it was the ancient homeland of the Jewish people. There was no UN vote then was there? If Arabs are "the ones who have always been attacked", then why are there so many Arab states? Only by attacking other nations and ruling over them can this happen. As usual, in order to delegitimise Israel, history has to be twisted until it is unrecognisable.
