31. Ynet losing credibility fast!
Jimmy   (09.11.11)
This a new low for Ynet.
32. It's an easy mistake
Philos ,   Herzliya   (09.11.11)
Someone must have mistaken dropped the "n" in Iran for a "q" when sending their reports to Bush, Rumsfeld and Cheney. Anyone could have done it.... Hey Iraq! Listen we meant to invade Iran. Typo in an intelligence document or something. Yeaaaaa we know. Our bad. We're sorry.
33. blame game
#13   (09.11.11)
Is there anything Israel wont be blamed for ? Isnt it awful being blamed for everything, even if you didn't do it. The shoe on the other foot now eh.
34. Little jex"s propaganda
Ardeshir   (09.11.11)
that works with small US brains... And fat US bellies... Thanks people, let's keep the USA in war and attrition for 4 more years, that will do fine :)
35. Please Post A Link to the Complaint
David ,   Israel   (09.11.11)
"The legal team drafted a huge lawsuit, recently submitted to the Manhattan District Court." A link to a PDF is appropriate here, and desired.
36. #7;Dan, PROVE IT
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (09.11.11)
I'm interested in what Zionist propaganda you refer to? For instance if you type in the the phrase "Pallywood" or "Photo Fraud in Lebanon". We can see video's that clearly prove the Arab governments, the State Media" The so called "neutral photographers and Journalists", as well as the "local population" ALL COMPLICIT in staged, fabricated and exaggerated fake news stories. All designed with just one purpose, to vilify Israel. My challenge to you is simple. Show us anything even remotely similar, that has been done by Israel. If you can't, I'll look for your apology to the readers here, and Israel for your libel. Put up, or shut up as they say. CASE CLOSED
37. Major media and this story
Sidney ,   USA   (09.11.11)
Whenever the Palestinians make a charge, however false, against Israel the mm always cover it. As of now, as far as I can determine, none of the mm have reported this story. If the allegations are true, everybody looks bad including the mm for such poor reporting. I hope that Ynet continues to report on this story.
38. Ynet is turning into a tabloid Journal...
Mark Van Hoff ,   Belgium   (09.11.11)
39. God bless the USA and Israel.
Lior   (09.11.11)
40. Israel again
Jon ,   Baltimore US   (09.11.11)
trying desperately to get the US to attack Iran for them.
41. It's fairly obvious
Drew ,   Usa   (09.11.11)
The USA went into Iraq and afganistan to contain Iran. Both legitamately! Iran has been tangentially attacking the USA for decades ie marine barracks Lebanon in the 80's. Invading those two countries was a win win, Iran surounded and rogue states eliminated. The real question is why is the American administration not applying the increasing pressure on Iran.????? Vote the wet noodle out in 2012 America!
42. #19 Zionist
David ,   America   (09.11.11)
You said Iran has never attacked US before, why start now? Allow me to jog your memory. I also am a Zionist forever. When the Iranians attacked and took over our Embassy, it was an attack on the US, It was an act of war. They hate us as much if not more than they hate Isra'el. Please remove your head from the sand. Your arse is sticking out.
43. Article is a masterpiece of half-truths and misdirection
dovid ,   los angeles   (09.11.11)
This piece is a total crock, full of half itruths and innuendos. For example, the stuff about US visas. How did the terrorists get them? Well, as everyone knows (and the writer conveniently omits), they were mostly Saudis (not Afghans or Lebanese as the writer implies). Thus it was easy to get visas at that time, especially for school. And anyway, it's not clear how Hezbollah and Iran would have helped get US visas. And the fact that the terrorists didn't have Iranian passport stamps is evidence Iran was involved? Is the writer kidding?

48. Iranian regeme of terorists
Ken ,   Australia   (09.11.11)
the biggest terrorist of all, Komenei. This guy planned the whole thing, from this report its very clear especially about all the anomallys that occured with the muslim states. We now know this was and is obvious that it was, a joint venture headed by iran. It is so clear and so obvious, who else would want to take down the west - Iran , So now we really know the west has been involved in a deep islamic world war. Headed by none other than the iranians with komeni at the helm as captain. If you really think about it , it makes more sense than anything else. Because what else do you think these guys sit around doing in there spare time, plotting how about bringing in islam, it all makes sense, start the war with takeing down america by a shit load of notches and the west will then just collapse, sounds like muslim mentality or arab thinking also. Here we go ww3, iran gets nuked and you know what , no-one will give a hoot.
49. (22) Danny
Omar ,   Canada   (09.11.11)
That's not what I said. Afghanistan and Iraq was for America. It is quite obvious to anybody with a brain that can think for themselves that THIS latest accusation has to do with what "Israel" wants. They've wanted the US to attack Iran for how long now?
50. Those talkbacks criticizing Israel ..
Steven Gilbert ,   Teaneck   (09.11.11)
have their anti-semitic heads up a dark place. Trying googling "ellen saracini and tom mellon". Their class action suit with intent to discover whether Iran was involved in 9/11has nothing to do with Israel. Ronen Bergman picks up now on a story carried by Reuters last May, puts it on ynet and the anti-semites come out of the walls. Let's all wait to see what the US courts find.
51. To: #11
AZConservative ,   Phoenix, AZ   (09.11.11)
You are so right, #11. Everyone knows that Iran is a peace loving country that only wants peace and prosperity for the Middle East, as long as their Middle East includes the complete annihilation of Israel, Iranian control of the entire region, and the crippling, if not outright destruction, of the United States. Anyone who doesn't believe that Iran has it's hand in the establishment of each new Middle East government (and probably was involved in the uprising) or that Iran's ambitions are to be the ruler of the world, isn't just naive. If you think Iran is such a wonderful, peace-loving, free country, why don't you go there and publicly stand us and talk about something in the government that you don't live. You won't be standing very long. Iran is a threat to the world, not just the Middle East, Israel, and the United States of America. Nothing that that say is to be trusted or believed. They only have their own interests at heart. We must believe that now and do something, or we will suffer the consequences in the future.
52. #46

To #46 - I think you should move to Tehran. I think you would enjoy your freedom of expression there. Let us know how it works out for ya. Por favor.
53. To #44
AZConservative ,   Arizona, USA   (09.11.11)
So your defense is to accuse ynet.com of going Full Tabloid Mode whenever you disagree with what they report. Brilliant. Your defense is unstoppable. You really stuck it to them. Wow. Debate team captain for you. So tell us, do they teach you a secret handshake when you join Hezbollah? Do the have a good pension plan? They really have helped you to improve your debate skills.
54. 42
zionist forever   (09.11.11)
Attacking the US embassy in 1983 is hardly blowing up the WTC in 2001. They have never gone after the US on home soil before and if they did what was their motive to all of a sudden decide to hit the US? The war on terror had not yet began Bush hadn't said a word about Iran, there were no economic sanctions or anything. Al Quaida had tried to blow up the WTC in 1993 and only a year earlier attacked the USS Cole. I don't say that Iran didn't hate the US but why suddenly an attack like 9/11? Bin Laden and the rest of his Al Quaida buddies were Arabs not Persians. I just don't see any hard facts that says Iran did it same way there are no facts proving the controlled explosion conspiracy.
55. everyone knows the leadership if that
Barney ,   USA   (09.11.11)
is what you call of them of iran are a bunch of wrotten terrorist apples. even their own people know this. the question is how do you take them out without nuking the whole country?
56. israel stands with the us today and every day!
ISRAELI   (09.11.11)
57. (55) AZConservative
Omar ,   Canada   (09.11.11)
All baseless accusations with nothing behind them. Iran wants to take over the world? When did they ever even hint of this? Destroy the US? Can't recall anything that would hint that. Destroy "Israel"? Other than the purposely misquoted speach where Ahmadanejad "threatens to wipe Israel off the map" (despite the word map not being used in the speech) "Israel" has been threatening Iran. So... If you don't want them attacking you, don't attack them. Simple as that. You're Hasbara isn't too good.
58. What a time waster
steve G ,   NYC   (09.11.11)
Don't you have anything better to do with your day than pass on hare-brained conspiracy theories? This article does nothing but diminish Ynet's credibility as a news source. Yeah, I know you like to publish lots of 'fun news', but this is REALLY pushing it.
59. Covering up Saudi involvement as well
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (09.11.11)
There are many reasons Israel tried to dissuade the US from going into Iraq, among them the conviction that IRAN was the greater threat. The US chose not to listen. To now acknowledge that Iran was more involved than Iraq would certainly prove embarrassing, and the powers that be would rather not have to face a call to action over the matter. But the US is also covering for Saudi Arabia. Those involved in the Commission Report acknowledge the existence of a secret annex that deals with Saudi financing behind the terror plot. Considering our dependence on the Saudis for oil and debt financing they simply don't want to deal with Saudi culpability.
