ADL supports 'World Trade Center Cross'    Ynetnews
1. Who's asking what ADL thinks?! US is a Christian country,
(just try to be elected without confirming your belief in The Big Daddy in the Sky and His Son/Prophet Jesus). Of course they have every right to put up a cross! If you want a Moygen Doyvid come home to Israel. What a hutzpa! Now I guess the American WASPs should thank ADL for their blessing?? oh and don't give me the multi-culti/equal rights b.s.

2. I suppose the ADL also supports the building of a Mosque....
Next to Ground Zero. The ADL has the same policy that all Jewish organizations have all over the world which is "Don't upset the Goyim and thy will leave us alone!" In the USA there is "separation of Church and State" and to have a Christian symbol where many of other denominations were killed is just wrong!

3. The problem with the cross as a religious symbol is that it
was the symbol of Emperor Constantine who paganized the religion of Rabbi Yeshua, even changing His name to JeZeus to honor a pagan chief deity, Zeus. Was Rabbi Yeshua crucified on a cross? No. He was crucified on a tree. There were wood pieces of various woods for his feet and arms that were nailed to the tree. Olaf Hage discusses this in depth in an essay and lecture that is available from www.petragrail@yahoo.com . The cross is the symbol of paganized Christianity. There is a test of true faith found in John 7:38. It says true believers will have rivers of living waters flow from their belly. That can be seen by an optometrist/optimist/ophthamologist looking into the eyes to see the blood vessels with a flashlight for that. The blood vessels look like streams of light. Most people who think they are going to heaven, are not. Unless they have the rivers of living waters flowing in their veins before death, they do not enter God's Kingdom since John 7:38 clearly says that is what a true believer has. The blood vessels in my eyes are like streams of light. How rare that is. It is scary, but not for me. It is scary for those who are not called and chosen and given the sign of that true faith.

4. 2 - Blind hatred only creates more problems
The knee jerk reaction to things Christian don't do anyone any favors. I think it's clear to Christians that Jews despise their religion, why highlight it at every opportunity?

5. #3 what a display of asinine ignorance...
was the symbol of Emperor Constantine who paganized the religion of Rabbi Yeshua, even changing His name to JeZeus to honor a pagan chief deity, Zeus ========== Jesus is not the contraction of JeZeus, Rivkah, ma the latinization of Yoshua. The rest is only IGNORANCE.

6. ADL Blesses inclusion of Cross
Thank you ADL for your support. Their reasoning is solid and we Christians do welcome the support of any and all Jewish groups. We Christians are commanded to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and I for one, and there are countless others, who support the Jewish efforts in many ways to 'stay the course' - to trust in God as did Joshua and Caleb when confronted by the 'giants' of the day.

7. The cross is a sign of suffering:we all suffer in life..
and the cross is "the sign" of a man and God suffering for all thing we do against each other, and the suffering we cause to God... Jews suffer,Christians suffer, children, man and women suffer in every corner of the world.. Like it or not,we all suffer and die and who dislike the cross, dislike mankind and his reality...

8. #7 the cross is your symbol and not ours
However, considering that the majority of victims were of the Christian faith the ADL decision was the right one. We need to give the greaters respect to the fallen victims of the Islamic terrorism.

9. #8, the cross is whose symbol?
I know the difference between Jewish stoning and Roman crucifixion, but I also believe that Yeshua was crucified as a fulfillment of Mosaic symbols and prophecy. Was not the serpent raised upon a pole, the symbol of Israel's unbelief and sin against God, even as the Son of Man was lifted up from the earth, crucified to bear the sin of the world? Was it not a curse to be hanged upon a tree, even as the Son of Man became cursed that those who trust in Him might be freed from the curse of sin and death?

10. US is NOT a Christian nation
US is a Secular country Europe is a Christian Continent Israel is a Jewish country Most of the Mid East is a Muslim land(outside of Israel) US is a secular country, pathetic the ADL would cave into something like this, but they go crazy when some dumb fashion designer makes some dumb comments

13. Not a Christian nation.
"As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion,—as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen,—and as the said States never entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries." - The Treaty of Tripoli, November 4, 1796
