3. One State, One Solution!
Jeff ,   Texas   (09.14.11)
As the prophet Ezekiel tells us: "I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again." Today I am asking you to pray for Israel. Together, let's ask God for these specific things: - First, pray that the United Nations will fail in their attempts to divide Israel with the creation of a Palestinian state. - Next, pray the promise of God that Israel will never be divided into two kingdoms again. - Pray also that the United States will remain a strong supporter and faithful ally of Israel. - Finally, pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as God's Word instructs us to do.
4. Who is this Cohn-Bendit?
Israeli 2   (09.14.11)
"...while the Turkish prime minister's "macho posturing" can be politically dangerous, it is ALSO JUSTIFIABLE due to Israel's UNWILLINGNESS TO COMPROMISE. Erdogan is deeply injured! " The Green German snakes should have no platform on YNet!
5. good idea . However ACTION should take place with regards
bernard ross ,   st anns bay, jamaica   (09.15.11)

7. The bully is getting bullied.
Harry ,   Benson   (09.15.11)
I think its best Israel keep quite for a while, in fact for a very very long while. You've been the bully all along, now you're getting bullied. It looks like you'll have to learn to live with it from here on. All you had to do was apologise but you just couldn't do it, now you have isolated yourself and Turkey can smell blood. Be careful, very careful.

10. Make your mind up...
Big Gili lad ,   Vivster   (09.15.11)
If you're not going to respond then don't respond (actually a good idea). But what's the point of sending out a press release saying "we've discussed Erdogans remarks for hours and decided not to respond.... because.." (blah blah blah lashing out at Erdogan). That's not responding?! Such a jumbled response makes us Israelis look really lame. Saying we won't respond but responding anyway. So typical. I'm starting to get the feeling that Netanyahu doesn't have the cahones for this anymore. Wondering when we're gonna get the chance to vote in a proper PM. IE: Lieberman. At least he's a bit more decisive!

Beary White ,   Norway   (09.15.11)

14. Erdogan marching proudly backward
R ,   Israel   (09.15.11)
Erdogan is taking Turkey backwards instead of forwards. He wanted to be the great negociator in the middle east and thus gain standing with the west and the Arab countries, but his knee-jerk responses have made any progress impossible. He wanted the Palmer report but when he didn't like the results, he acted like a spoiled child. When a child has a tantrum, ignoring it is usually the best policy. He'll be remembered as the guy who undid all of Ataturk's progress.
15. erdogan engineered the conflict
Queen Mary ,   Scotland   (09.15.11)
It started with rude rethoric towards Israeli president in Davos, long before the Flotilla. Then Erdogan used IHH, an NGO with radical Islamic ties, to organize the first Flotilla, his agents infiltrated the Flotilla and attacked 4 Israeli commandos with rods and chains. The commandos, armed w ball-point guns jumped overboard, then radioed to the main ship about the attack. 20 min later armed commandos came to the ship and shot the thugs. No doubt Erdogan knew they would be killed, any border guards of any country would do the same if attacked. Then he skillfully used this issue to escalate further tension by demanding "an apology". It was clear for the Israelis that he was not negotiating in good faith, since he included the additional demand of lifting Gaza blockade, the demand he knew Israel would not accept. He prevailed in the information war convincing the Islamic world that Israel committed murder. Then he downgraded diplomatic and cut military ties with Israel. Does Erdogan really care about Palestinians or it's just all politics? Let's see. He himseld is guilty of occupation, Turkey occupies Northern Cypress, the move never recognized by the international community. He bombs Kurds including civilian population and by the way not only in eastern Turkey but also across the border in Iraq.Turkey committed genocide against Armenia raping, murdering and pillaging the whole country during WWI. Never apologized. So far no western "peace activists" raised issues of Erdogan's obvious hypocrisy.
16. Cohn Bendit
aline silverman ,   israel   (09.15.11)
Well "Danny the red" is back ! Brings back memories of 1968 in Paris. I was then a student at the Sorbonne. He wanted a revolution against the "BOURGEOIS", he only created a mess.He now lives in Germany where he leads(?) the green movement...He has himself become a bourgeois in many ways,Not very clear what his nationality is: French? German? Both? He is certainly Jewish although this fact does not count for him.
