and you are getting too old to write. You are a leftist who wants Israel to fall into Arab hands. That's ok, Israel will win again, by words or by war. There are a lot of jokers like you and we'll continue to prove you are wrong again. Good luck with your career, it looks like you brain has finally seized.

12. 1-5
Baruch Jamili ,   Bat Yam   (09.18.11)
Ostriches with heads in the sand - thus revealing your real thinking parts.
13. Friedman, self-appointed prophet
Sidney ,   USA   (09.18.11)
Friedman is a self-appointed prophet who constantly denounces Israel for not listening to him. He hasn't approved anything about Israel since Rabin. As for the NYT, if you can find a good word about Israel anywhere in its pages you are a more careful than I. It's other two foreign policy columnists, Cohen and Kristoff, are harder on Israel than Friedman. Cohen was an apologist for Iran before the crack down after the phony election of Ahmadinajad. Whether the publisher Sulzberger, whose only qualification is that he inherited the paper, hates Israel or depends on Arab money to keep the paper alive is an open question.
14. WHO IS THOMAS FRIEDMAN?
WHOIS THIS GUY? ,   WORLD   (09.18.11)

Joel ,   Auburn USA   (09.18.11)
for better worse, he has the ear of BHO
20. Friedman is wrong
Brod ,   USA   (09.18.11)
The fact is millions of people around the world support Israel. Friedman is wrong. Instead of supporting Israel, Friedman is supporting those crusading against Israel.
21. mind your own business!!!!!
lee ,   israel   (09.18.11)
when you live here, you can talk!!!!!
22. Friedman
longeen ,   Canada   (09.18.11)
I am very confused about your Jewish unity. Friedman is a Jew. I think. Then he writes pretty hateful article. He is not just the first Jew that has such a hatred toward his own nation. What's wrong with you??!! You all should be pulling in one direction!
23. Uncle
michaelpielet ,   boca raton, Israel   (09.18.11)
Uncle Tom Friedman is just another anti-semite that hates israel. He is jealous.
24. This is the guy who likes the Arab Spring
JonnyAce ,   Israel   (09.18.11)
Tom thought the Arab Spring was real cool. I mean he was there talking to the new age of forward-looking Egyptian youth, outside his hotel near Tahrir Square, what with their laptops hooked up to Twitter, sipping their lattes and toking the darbuka. He was upset that Bibi didnt add to the synergy of the times. Now, when it all blows up, and the Muslim Brotherhood takes over, what will Tom say ? Let me guess. He will blame (1) Bibi, (2) Lieberman, (3) the settlements, of course.
25. Shut up, Mr. Friedman
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.18.11)
No one is interested in what you have to say. Why not get a REAL job and stop living off your wife's real estate billions.
26. His material has been appearing in Obama's speeches
Ghilmeini ,   Khndahar USA   (09.18.11)
TF is so very full of himself and wise. Just put him in charge and all will be known and solved. TF has been ghostwriting for Obama this year, meanwhile Israelis see Bibi leading Israel through the storm. Israelis have seen some terrorism on Bibis watch but no wars: Israel wants peace not war and Israelis know what Palestinians want. Not peace but Israel's destruction. No US pundit did more to push the peace process than Friedman, people have died from his wrongheaded ideas and egotism- for that you cannot despise home enough. If Israelis thought the PA was ready for statehood and peace they would have elected Livni or Barak to head government, they didn't,they chose the most defense minded PM they could elect. Bibi is not doing nothing, he is ensuring Israel's survival.
27. So Friedman is worried about Israel and it's leadership.
Allan ,   Delray Beach   (09.18.11)
Wait till Avi Lieberman becomes PM. Wonder what Friedman would worry about then.
28. Friedman is the mental twin of Abbas...
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (09.18.11)
and of Hussein Obama...of course !
29. It's a mistake to dismiss Friedman
Yitzhak ,   Israel   (09.18.11)
I see the knee-jerk and less than thoughtful responses on this talk-back and am saddened. Friedman is a friend of Israel, not an enemy. And he is very influential inside the "Beltway." Dismissing him out of hand may feel good, but it is a mistake. Confusing settlements with "pro-Israel" is a serious flaw. And, I say this as an Israeli and a Zionist.
30. To # 2
Yosef Y. ,   n. palm beach usa   (09.18.11)
Right on, Talula, At least this soda-jerk T.Friedman is being paid well for being a moron, compared to his fellow volunteers. Nothing but another self-hating Jew.
