What happened in Lydda? Jews were kicked out by the Romans then Romans got kicked out by the Arabs then Jews kicked out the Arabs in 1948. In 1948, according to the UN partition plan, Lydda was to be on the Arab side of Palestine. Jews agreed but Arabs said no and waged a war of anihilation against the Jews (just because they were Jews). 250 Arabs were killed in Lydda during the war (Assad kills more Arabs in peace time than Israel in war time). After the war, Arabs were gathered in Lydda and sent to walk to an Arab country. Another 300 died during that 3 days walk. Lydda was then repopulated by Jewish refugees that were forcefully expelled from the Arab countries they were born in (Marocco, Tunisia, Ethiopia...). Lydda today is named LOD and is the site of the Ben Gurion airport (20kms south of Tel Aviv). So you are offended by some 500 deaths in war time but the anihilation wish of 5 Arab nations against the nascent Jewish state of Israel seems normal to you. So I ask you Jarda, why did they hate us before Lydda? Why did they hate us before the west bank "occupation" or the Jerusalem liberation? Why did Arabs hate Jews in 1945 and 1936 and 1929 before Israel was even born? Is it because of the poor education they receive both at home and at school? What happened in Lydda (Lod today) is the result of the 1948 war. If Arabs had accepted the UN division of Palestine into two countries in 1947 none of that would have happened. But no, the Arabs decided to throw the Jews into the sea. And the Jews defended themselves. Lydda was a strategic town close to Tel Aviv. The Israeli army had no choice but win that town, otherwise there would have been a major obstacle to success in that war. So, the loss of Lydda by the Arabs is the consequence of Arabs wanting to decimate the Jews in the 1948 war. But of course antisemites like yourself prefer to look at what happened only through the eyes of the Arabs. But believe me you convince only the Jew haters!

I am quite sure Hamas will soon add this monster to the list of monsters to be released in exchange for Shalit. This should NEVER be accepted.
