If you disagree with government decision, then show it at the ballots, or meet with knesset members, or run for a seat in the knesset. But to claim to know G-d and that G-d is punishing the Jewish people because of certain government decisions is unrighteous unholy and disgusting. This man does not know hashem, and his claims make him a false prophet. Rabbis should preach peace or join a mercenary group. He should also realize that what he says affects the image of the entire people in the eyes of the outside world who might falsey assume that this rabbi speaks for all Israelis. Think much, speak little, and perhaps this rabbi would be a little wiser. Some rabbis are becoming as low as some imams.
