Prayers for the Holy Land in the coming hours. Cool heads must prevail on all sides and President Abbas must be extremely careful with the tone of his speech. Someone must try and have a word in his ear that he must emphasise non violence and peaceful co-existence.

It would be nice to find a solution for people that were displaced, but first you need to be honest with yourself and not spout meaningless propaganda. Then you have to admit that you never had a country, a government or coins; nothing. There are of course people that ran away in 1948 but they weren't forced out. So what is the main problem? The PA will not accept Israel as a Jewish State but wants a Muslim State free of Jews. The above is a complete non-starter for any negotiations! Even anti-Israel supporters would surely be shocked if this new Muslim State started forcibly removing 500,000 Jews from their homes. And Israel would sit back and watch? Why does Abbas refuse to recognize Israel as a Jewish State? He wants millions of Muslims to return (700,000 left) to Israel but can't insist on that if Israel is a Jewish State. When Abbas and co say, "We recognize Israel as a Jewish State and want peace with it, then peace between us will be very close indeed.

Sadly, war makes widows and orphans. In this case, it was because someone was trying to kill security people with a lucky hit from a thrown rock and the security person defended himself. Even more sadly, you will see first hand the horrors of war, once the Muslim population in Europe reaches a sufficient amount that they won't feel the need to pretend that your continent is yours, instead of part of their global Caliphate. You got rid of your Jews, and earned yourself Muslims instead. Not wise, but perhaps you can repent before your continent reaches the tipping point.
