There are many of us Israelis who firmly believe that we have no business on the other side of it,and that settlements are the primary obstacle to peace.One could put forward chronological arguments etc.....but freeze settlements,announce it to the world,and,yes,we'll have 'problems' with our selfish extreemist religious lot over the line,but they will need to consider the greater good of normal folk in 'original Israel' before events overtake us...

I don't think the police coming to one conclusion (it was a car accident). Then changing that view to (it was terrorism), necessary means it was a cover-up. The Media typically jumps to conclusions based on the available information. So the first impression of the police changed as more investigation revealed evidence that might point to terrorism (i.e. The driver had blunt trauma injury to the head, that pointed to being hit by a rock). It happens, it doesn't mean a cover-up necessarily by the police.

That from 1948-1967 there were NO settlements at all. So how could settlements be the "main obstacle" to peace? BiBi announced and implemented a 10 month freeze to start "direct talks" with the Palestinians. Hilary Clinton at the time, referred to the "freeze" as "historic" and unprecedented" for Israel. But what happened? It was perceived as weakness by Abbas, and he immediately began calls for MORE concessions from Israel. Before he would sit down for "indirect talks". So what's your next suggestion??

The Arabs seem to be saying one Jewish life is worth 1000 Arab lives. If Israel wishes to respect the Arab's perspective, then two separate executions of 1000 Arabs each would be what the Arabs expect.

Israel will return to being at war (the so-called "palestinian" Arabs are at war with Israel already, it's only Israel who is trying to be at peace). When this happens, you will see your heroes, the "palestinian" Arabs receive the just reward of murdering babies and hiding behind their own babies when they attack Jews. And you will see the Jews whom you so despise stand in the victory that God Most High has given them.
