Obama needs Florida to win the general election. Florida is primarily made up of Southerners= conservative, Cubans= conservative, and Jews= as a rule liberal. Without the Jewish vote in Florida, Obama will lose Florida and the election. As of right now it looks like Obama will lose Florida.

The article states that 'the majority of American Jews would still vote for...Obama." Thus, per the writer's logic, the majority of Jews are fools. I don't believe the writer. It would mean the majority of Am Jews want Israel to go back BEFORE the 1967 border. Oy vey.

Jews gave Obama a lot of money in 2008, but this year many are telling him "sorry" because they are either suffering from his failed economic policies or are pissed off at his treatment of Israel. He needs to raise a billion dollars for his reelection and can't accomplish that without the Jews. The amount of donations he has collected is way down from everyone this year, not just Jews. As we speak, Obama is in my neighborhood, attending not one, but two fundraisers. We just love (not) when he visits L.A. and the entire city becomes one huge traffic jam. I can hear the sirens from his police escort.

Maybe you have followed some of my posts. If you did you already know how strongly I support Israel. However I never go to synagogue. Being a scientist i only believe in what science can explain and have no religious beliefs at all (I am not atheist because atheism is another form of religion or maybe cult) . many American Jews who may not be believers may be very strong ethnic Jews. Just like me. And while I am a very strong supporter of Israel I also support a peaceful Palestinian Arab state next to Israel in WB and gaza.

As a conservative American Jew I always wondered why so many of my people vote Democratic. I was raised with good family values, instilled with a great work ethic, taught to be self sufficient, to get a good education and to push for success. These are all things the left calls evil. I do not understand how we can vote against our own interests and culture...hopefull this is a sign things are changing.

Only 5% reduction in approval? It's unbelievable to me.
