after 25 years service and collects a full pension. just the sort of economic incompetence that has brought greece to its knees. there a government employee, maybe a railway worker etc., who has worked for 25 years, from 17 to 42 also retires on a full pension, and will live for another 40 years on average, taking more money in pension then ever earnt. and who pays for all this? chancellor merkel? the us treasury? that little old lady who shakes that blue and white can at the deli? and i thought israel aspired to be a classless society. how wrong i was. If the salaries and pensions of career officers portion of the budget is “fixed” and the IDF has no access to it, who does? And why does the IDF not have access? Anyone know?
