1. US Relationship
Chaim ,   Arad   (10.06.11)
As the time for elections gets closer, the more this frick and frack administration declares how much they love Israel. They love Israel for the vote, then under the bus we go....until the next time they want a favor or elections.
2. Do not be Obama's willing fools. Support the Republicans.
Chaim ,   Israel   (10.06.11)
The evidence of Obama's hostility, even hatred, of Israel is overwhelming. Obama's public disdain for Israel and her democratically elected P.M. is unprecedented in Israel's history. It contrasts markedly with Obama's fawning obsequious treatment of America's enemies. American Jews: it is clear that Obama is Israel's enemy and your enemy. Do not be his willing fools. Vote for and support the Republicans.
3. Friend of America, but not necessarily friend of
Harry Wright ,   UK   (10.06.11)
America's administration. Does Biden have any credibility? Isn't he the same person who claimed he did not know Van Jones after having worked with him? Elections sure makes men liars and have them making the most outrageous statements for which they have to scramble to do damage control afterwards.
4. This reminds me of "Ani yashar".
Josh   (10.06.11)
When you hear someone offer it, you stop and wonder why did he need to say this?

David ,   USA   (10.06.11)
Biden, spell it out say: Jerusalem is the undivided capitol 2) Move US Embassy to E. Jerusalem (Stop kissing Bedouin puppet asses like Saudi Arabian King etc. 3) Release Pollard. 4) Declare League of Nations Mandate was correct 5) Tell the world how the Arab World kicked out all their Jews, 6) Tell Erdogan / Ahmadinejad etc to "back off" or face U>S> wrath. That's being a friend.
8. Snakes

Now Biden with his lies. He and his boss have seen that they are loosing financially from money from jews and now trying every lie, untruth and falsehood to bow to the jews. Let Biden and his racelistic boss go to the same blacks that they are pushing and get the monies--ha.ha.ha.
12. Nothing moral about illegal occupation and ethnic cleansing
Marcus Silverman   (10.06.11)
Maybe the Americans live on a different planet, where illegal occupation and ethnic cleansing are acceptable. But on this planet, Israeli settlements in occupied Palestinian territory violate article 49 of the fourth Geneva Convention - the Americans and Israelis really do deserve the dubious accolade as the Axis of Evil.
13. I would really like to know...
dorothy friend ,   tel aviv   (10.06.11)
....what else Pollard did that is being kept secret as part of the deal. Actually, I think it's time we all knew. Just remember, even the second President Bush, who many of the Talkbackers here see as a good friend of Israel didn't pardon him either, and that must mean something!
14. apparently, the US permits Israel to request Pollard release

15. Not much to chat about, is there?
Gideon Reader ,   USA   (10.06.11)
Pollard still remains in prison, and Biden is still remains a submoronic Putz.
16. Pollard Pollard Pollard and more Pollard!
Sheik rattle & roll ,   USA   (10.06.11)
All we hear about is Pollard. Pollard is an American. If Israel focuses on Gilad Shalit the "Israeli" as much as it does Pollard maybe Hamas the terrorist would release him. Israel leave our "American" traitor alone he is not going anywhere. Israeli's don't understand America. We separate religion from State so his Jewishness or my Jewishness or my neighbors catholic or your cousins atheism doesn't matter. A crime is a crime so please let him do his time.

Chaim don't fool yourself the vote is not that significant. American Jews vote American not Israeli. We never ever ask Israel for military aid or to use it's VETO to block UN action against us. If the US wanted to throw Israel "under the bus" it could do so very easy. There is no country on this earth that goes out of it's way to protect Israel more than the US. So how about you being a grateful ally and say thank you instead of saying we need more favors or your favors are not enough. Just imagine no friendship with America today Chaim and I would imagine no friendship with Israel. Wow that was a stressful few minutes-NOT. You have no better friend on this planet so let it go Chaim and let us choose our own policy/friends and we will let you choose your own for better or worse.

Pollard was born an American and worked for the US Government. The only connection to Israel was that he got paid for being a spy. He is an American prisoner so go focus on Gilad Shalit.
19. Pollard's "SIN": He Permitted Israel to Act in its Defense
Linda Rivera ,   New York, USA   (10.06.11)
FREE political prisoner, Pollard, jailed for life for protecting Israel! http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=24659 September 26, 2001 Terror in the U.S. and the Jonathan Pollard case By Larry Dub © 2001 WorldNetDaily.com "... thanks to Jonathan Pollard, Israel was ready with gas masks and sealed rooms when Iraq attacked her during the Gulf War... The usual sentence for spying for an ally is 2-4 years... Indeed, the Government's own Victim Impact Statement (VIS), which was submitted to the court prior to sentencing indicated that Pollard's greatest "sin" was that by giving Israel vital security information which permitted the Jewish state to act in its own defense, he had made Israel "too strong" and thus angered America's "moderate" Arab allies..."
20. U.S. CRUELTY to Pollard Shocked Even the Europeans
Linda Rivera ,   New York, USA   (10.06.11)
THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT RESOLUTION ON JONATHAN POLLARD September 16, 1993 The European Parliament, 1. noting that Jonathan Pollard, then of the US Navy, was convicted in 1985 of passing classified information to Israel concerning the military activities of Iraq, Syria and other Middle Eastern nations, 2. noting also that the information dealt with the chemical, biological and nuclear arms build- up in these countries and that Pollard considered he had a moral duty to warn Israel of the developing massive threat to its security and to the lives of its people, 3. whereas Pollard has expressed remorse for his action, 4. whereas Pollard, who was not accused of treason, or of intending to harm the US, pleaded guilty under a plea bargain, and was thus convicted and sentenced, without a full trial, to life imprisonment, despite the Government's promise not to seek such a penalty, 5. noting that the sentence imposed on Pollard was grossly disproportionate to those imposed on others by US courts for supplying information to a friendly power (normally from two to four years), 6. shocked that most of Pollard's eight years in prison should have been spent in solitary confinement and underground, 7. astonished that Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger, described by one of his Under-Secretaries for Defense as having had 'an almost visceral dislike of Israel', should have sent a message to the trial judge, one hour before the sentencing hearing, asking for the stiffest possible sentence commensurate with Pollard's 'treasonous' (sic) behavior, 8. noting however that Mr. Weinberger stated recently that he thought it was time that Mr. Pollard should be released; aware that Christian and Jewish organizations throughout the world have pleaded for the harsh sentence of life imprisonment to be commuted and that Judge Steve Williams wrote, in a dissenting opinion to an appellate court finding, that 'the government's conduct in this case resulted in a 'complete miscarriage of justice', 1. Urges the US Administration to commute Pollard's sentence to one of time served and to release him immediately; 2. Calls on EPC to intercede with the US government with this end in view; 3. Instructs its President to forward this resolution to the Council, the Commission, EPC and the Government of the United States. Voted almost unanimously on 16th September 1993. 21. So any of you want to suggest....
dorothy friend ,   tel aviv   (10.09.11)
...why even your beloved President Bush the second didn't pardon Pollard. I mean, really, shouldnt that tell you something?
