61. With Gilad Safely Home...
Peter ,   South Carolina, USA   (10.18.11)
This deal is splitting Israel apart. it is clear to understand both sides however. No one can fault Gilad's parents for wanting their son to be back home. No one can fault the families of the murder victims outrage that their loved one's killer will be released. In my humble opinion, I think this issue needs closure. As long as Gilad is alive, and in captivity, this issue is a festering wound for Israel. As painful as it is to release terrorist SCUM, I believe Netanyahu is doing the right thing. The next couple of years is going to see an awful conflict in the middle east, and when it happens, this may be Israel's opportunity to wipe Hamas off the face of the earth one and for all, especially if please God we have a better friend to Israel in the White House. With Gilad safely home, Israel can utterly destroy Hamas without fear that they would kill him in revenge. I say do the deal get Gilad home, and destroy Hamas once and for all time!
