1. World's Super Power?
Mitchell Cohen ,   Gush-Etzion, Israel   (10.17.11)
How is it that the world's largest super power (America) who Egypt is as dependent on as a baby kangaroo to her mother still hasn't been able to secure the release of one of her citizens from there? It baffles my mind at least?
2. 1 Egyptian is worth 10 Palestinians?
Frankie Littlehammer ,   New Herstal, TX, USA   (10.17.11)
Poor Gilad Shalit is exchanged for 1000 Palestinians, but Ilan Grapel is exchanged for 100 Egyptians, so 1 Egyptian is worth 10 Palestinians? Sounds about right.
3. Why did this idiot put down on his passport he was a muslum?
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (10.17.11)
Either he is a stupid spy or a stupid student but in either case he should pay some price for being so dumb.
4. USA
Dennis ,   Nj   (10.17.11)
You ask how America couldn't manage to release one of it's own citizens? Cause we have a jerk in the White House. Not even th fahrcochteh Arabs take him seriously any more...
5. # 2
Birdi ,   Israel   (10.17.11)
81 Egyptian prisoners will be set free, not 100.
6. New rule - lefty do-gooders are on their own
rebecca ,   Modiin   (10.17.11)

9. To: No. 7
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.17.11)
"Earlier this month, a senior Egyptian element admitted that Grapel was not a spy." Boy, are you ever dumb. If you were any more stupid, you'd need to be watered twice a week.

Oh I get it when we gonna start the trade?
11. #6, Respect for "lefty do-gooders" and Israel.
Michael ,   California, USA   (10.19.11)
You are throwing mud at those who enable you to live in Israel today. Ben Gurion was a "lefty" and so was Mapai and israeli leadership all the way till the Begin era. For this alone you should tone down your nonsense rhetoric. Another point is that Grapel deserves to be freed irrespectfully of his political views. He is an Israeli citizen in a prison. He is also a U.S. citizen and I really am ashamed to hear U.S. has done very little to release him. My salute goes to Israel for arranging the release of Grapel.
12. So ... Egypt only had 81 left in Israeli Jails?
John ,   Alaska   (10.19.11)
Scripturally, the ratio is 1 Jew to 1000 of the enemy (Joshua 23:10) But logically, if there are no more of the enemy to give or take, one must be limited to the number of enemy available. I do believe, however, that by Egypt explicitly invoking the statement the Muslims made and coerced Israel into agreeing with, this does make the same 1 Jew to 1000 of the enemy equivalence will hold for them also. So ... does any other group of Arabs want in on the action, or is it being confirmed by two separate Muslim entities sufficient to make the point? I believe it does, but I'd like to hear your views on it.
13. Lol...Wednesday already....
Adam ,   Golan Heights Israel   (10.19.11)
