While the world is better off without Gaddafi..... there's nothing redeeming in the way he was dispatched. You've lowered yourselves to his animal level. There should always be rule of law & justice. Likewise I see no particular promise in the so-called "Arab Spring". As inicidents in Cairo (and now Libya) show, it is really the "Arab street" which in term equates to basic MOB RULE. Let's see how well democracy blossoms in Libya: a nominal paper govt sitting in Benghazi with little contol or power over 100s of roving gangs of gunmen. Who's in charge here? Whom ever has guns & bullets - i.e. virtually everyone. By the way - have no illusions: who really brought Gaddafi down ? NATO. The mobs merely finished him off. The world's definitely better off without thug Gaddafi - but I see little good coming out of next phases.

The arab opponents against Moammar Gaddafi has called him a jew to increase his unpopularity. He was born an arab, and died as an arab, in the streets, which is a normal behaviour in how arabs handles human beeings, non-muslims. With no dignity for human life.

I don't recall them voicing a demand when either Hamas or Hizbullah illegally kidnapped Israelis from inside our country, and abused or killed in the process. Certainly, keeping a human from sunlight for 5 years on a diet of hummous, and daily threats on their life, is nothing close to "humane".

There are many leaders who have committed crimes against humanity including genocide. They are tried, and under fair judicial process, hopefully convicted and appropriately punished. In fact, in the "Maimonides Code of Law", Courts of Justice apply to Jews and Gentiles alike. I`m surprised at the celebration that he was executed on the spot, after being caught, while pleading for his life. All in the name of "Democratic change".
