Mr. Erdogan should know that all Israel and Cyprus are doing is defending Cyprus from Turkey's illegal occupation of the northern half of Cyprus and the illegal Turkish settlements that violate United Nations resolutions. There has never been a compulsory UN resolution against israel. All those resolutions are in fact recommendations which do not need to be fulfilled. The UN resolutions against Turkish occupation of Cyprus are compulsory.

Why on earth is Cyprus cosying up to Israel? Does it think Israel will help get its northern district back from the Turks? It was Greek Cypriots who started the tension by a coup attempting to unite the island with Greece. Doesn't Israel have enough on its plate without getting entangled in this dispute? Israel acts as if it really believes the writings in ancient books about its invincibility thanks to G_d's intervention to save it from any threat.
