61. Gaddahfi a POW?
Cranios ,   Dayton Ohio   (10.24.11)
Now way did he deserve POW protections. If he had surrendered, he could make that claim, but he didn't, in fact he kept his men killing to the very end. That is not the behavior of a "captive"!
62. I shot Gaddafi
Ellen O'Day ,   Toronto   (10.24.11)
But I did not shoot his deputy
63. What goes around comes around.
Freedom ,   Anytown, USA   (10.24.11)
He got what he deserved. He was a brutal dictator and kill thousands of his own countrymen. He died like a rat in a hole, just like Saddam.
64. Freedom fighters, Hagh!
Bill ,   Scottsdale, AZ   (10.24.11)
One murderous tyrant replaced by a second group of murdererous tyrants (whom lie to keep up their public image).
65. #56 Rude Lobo
Vlad   (10.24.11)
You forget he wasn't a soldier. He was a poorly disciplined teenage militia fighter.
66. Gaddafi demanded gold for oil
Tony Al Spaghetti ,   Philly, US   (10.24.11)
His defiance against the globalist monetary system got him in trouble. A trial may have brought this out. In addition, if rules of war don't apply with NATO, why are American troops still in prison for "war crimes”? Let's not have a double standard. Abolish ALL rules regarding the treatment of prisoners, shall we?
67. Rivkah
Lincoln ,   Texas, USA   (10.24.11)
It is very clear from your three postings here that you are wearing a tinfoil hat...

70. Country of Fanatics
leo ,   nyc   (10.25.11)
The West will soon regret the loss of Gaddafi as chaos erupts and the dark veil of Sharia law takes over...
71. Gaddafi's execution
George ,   Ft. Bliss, TX   (10.24.11)
Sic Semper Tyrannus
72. Trial would have been much more civilized..
Sassan ,   Orange County, CA   (10.24.11)
And would have given justice to the Libyan people in the more dignified way...but this is the result of vengeance due to oppression and terror of Ghadafi's rule. Assad and Khamenei should take heed..
73. Gaddafi
bettershot ,   denver usa   (10.24.11)
Shot him twice in the head and it took him an hour to die. What an incompetent.
74. What happened to this Western democracy?
Leon Zacharowicz MD ,   USA   (10.25.11)
We were led to believe that the rebels were some sort of pro-Western democrats in the making. I guess they're not. Another interesting aspect of the foreign policy of our president.
75. New lyrics
Songwriter ,   NYC   (10.25.11)

77. Interesting
JohnK ,   Belmont CA   (10.25.11)
It is interesting how there is more outcry over this incident involving a man who murdered people, ordered the murder of innocents on the Lockerbie Scotland flt yet when these animals drag a US service member through the streets like a pack of wild dogs no one speaks out and what is worse many in this part of the world celebrate it. So what else do we expect? That seems to be pretty standard treatment of the "enemy" in that area of the world. They get hot and bothered when they feel like it or when it is one of their own but there are countless scenes of these people abusing prisoners far worse than anything that happened at Abu Gharib. such as burning the bodies of wounded contractors in Iraq and hanging them off a bridge, the bodies of the Ranger when I was in Somalia, they murder of a group of Pakistani border guards or the beheading of kidnapped US civilians in Iraq. It is wrong to desecrate the body of someone like this. It shows a lack of civilized behavior but it is what happens over there and it won't change as long as people say it is ok in one instance but not the other. I don't care what their predicament is or what the excuse is people have to stand up to this type of behavior regardless of our personal view of the person. This world will never get better as long as we rationalize garbage like this. The inhumane treatment of prisoners or dead bodies is something we expect out of people 600 yrs ago. It is wrong no matter who does it but for some reason many advocate it. MQ was a scumbag there is no doubt but this says much more about the people who treated his body like this than it says about him.
78. folks the Geneva convention doesn't apply here
Johnk ,   Belmont CA   (10.25.11)
MQ's treatment was/is wrong but it doesn't fall under the Geneva convention. This is not a declared war with signers of the convention signing on to the agreement. We need to take a careful look at the people who did this as a group, the people that allowed this to happen and think long and hard before we pat them on their backs for ""liberating" themselves. As it often goes in this part of the world. the people who overthrow one monster often end up worse than the people they over throw. same with Castro, Pol Pot, Ho Chi Minhs forces Stalin, Lenin etc etc.
79. Demos Think Stank
Stephen G ,   USA Fort Lauderdale   (10.25.11)
Here are opinions from a Marxist think tank called Demos. This is a beautiful moment in Libya's struggle for freedom. Dr. Blabbermouth bores us with his diatribe Khaddafi's passing. He sounds completely narcissistic and vain in the way he snores through this interview.
80. Now we have two (2) Terrorist Drinks...
Frank ,   Canton, MI USA   (10.25.11)
If you order a "Bin Laden" - you get two shots and a splash. If you order a "Ghadaffi" - you get two shots on ice. 'Nuff said - good riddance to both of these evil, heinous men.
