For whatever it is worth, if a Saudi prince wishes to spend a great deal of money on a private jet, that is entirely his business and that of Saudi Arabia. The more pressing question would be how Mahmoud Abbas justifies spending money designated for the ersatz "Palestinian" people on a luxurious Gulfstream jet, three lavish homes and very large offshore bank accounts. The man has absolutely no academic credentials of which to speak. His only credentials are those of terrorist activities. He is a nothing and a nobody, and he learned that in the past month at the United Nations, where he found himself unable to dredge sufficient votes out of the General Assembly, of all places -- not exactly a bastion of pro-Israel sentiment. Before the Oslo Disaster, Israel operated from the sane premise that you don't talk with those who seek your destruction. Israel abandoned this premise in favor of talking with our genocidal terrorist enemies. The result is skyrocketing incidents of terror, mainings, murders and rockets on our cities and towns. The result is also plummeting Israeli self respect and respect worldwide. Before Oslo, Israel was respected as a gutsy little state. Today Israel is regarded as self destructive. Talking to the P.A. is far more dangerous than their U.N. statehood bid, which Israel can easily counter or render meaningless. We need merely annex Judea and Samaria; as we should have back in 1967.
