The US does not hire imbeciles to be agents of the CIA. Grapel was a student who lost his mind a little bit, probably under the influence of euphoria of the "Arab Spring." The U.S. never abandoned its citizen and it accomplished Grapel's release. For what is the worth of 25 Egyptian prisoners in comparison to fighter planes?
