Proud Israeli ,   Israel   (11.04.11)
everyone knows that put downs of politicians who support Israel are coming from the Obama camp, not Jewish, let alone Israeli. His campaign must really be desperate. There isn't a single Jew in Israel who wouldn't thank President Perry for his support and acknowledgement of the real danger of Iran. And it's obvious he is going to be President because he's the most qualified by far. Thank you. Mr. President.
3. No US interventon by Obama
Nora Tel Aviv   (11.04.11)
Obama to Ahmadinejad: You can have your bomb if you promess me not to use it. Ahmadinejad to Obama; (Crossing fingers) Sure, I promess.
4. Rick Perry
Elana ,   Israel   (11.04.11)
OK. So Perry would support an Israeli air strike on Iran. Great, another one who is prepared to fight Iran till the last Israeli is standing. Thank you Perry for your support but rather, use your campaign for the Presidential chair, for peace and reconciliation among all peoples of the earth. Enough of war. Thank you very much.
5. Yeaahhh...that's the way to go !

6. I meant Mr. President Perry elect
Proud Israeli ,   The Holy Land   (11.04.11)
it will be a day of celebration for all good people, Jewish and Gentile, Israeli and American as well as the rest of the world. And for all those who put him down, don't cry in line at the unemployment line, I strongly suggest supporting him, it affects everyone economically, everyone. And p.s to the Obama hasbara campaign, Americans are not stupid, you're done you crook. And to the media, if Pres Perry was not brilliant, he would not have been the most successful American Governor in history, proven fact, look at the numbers.
7. Mr Perry - You are to late !.
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (11.04.11)
"We have said many times that we do not seek military confrontation with Iran, but we will use any mean to put pressure on Iran to cooperate with IAEA," US state Department Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland told reporters Thursday. "We continue to believe that there is still time for diplomacy, and that a diplomatic outcome is possible, and we are working toward that goal," she added. - So is this !. Arn.Sweden.
8. Perry for President ! If he's sincere...

9. Stop asking Israel to do what every one wants.
Jo   (11.04.11)
There are plenty of countries that want Iran stopped, plenty who have the resources and are in far better locations than Israel. This going on at Israel as if this is Israel's responsibility is wrong. Israel might be hated by Iran but it poses far worse problems for others, even Arab States.

HISTORY will always choose someone that is more liberal in the Republicans camp. (like Romney). the other half of the Liberal Americans will make sure no "Far Right" (aka Pro-Jews Christian) ascend the throne. i sort of think the OWS is staged for a time like this to help up Obama, discredit TeaParty to "Occupy Wall Street" (which already became Occupy WAR Street".) Perry is good, even if he wins, won't be by a wide margin. read in a post today that Anti-sematism is rising in America to 15%. some 30% think America-Jews more loyal to Israel than America.
13. need to fabricate evidence and iran is gone
zico   (11.04.11)
This guy is definitely going to be the next president. All we need is to fabricate an evident and Iran will be wiped out of the map.
14. And will he also bury the dead?

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.04.11)
Any chance you will climb into your little dinghy and row your way to Gaza? Don't worry -- Israel will not intercept you. We'll be way too busy laughing at the idiot in the rowboat. Row, row, row your boat ... gently into the Med ... Why not put your actions where your stupid mouth lives? I would purely love to see what will happen to you.
16. Perry

Perry is an Evangelist Christian and his Motto is 'ONLY THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST GO TO HEAVEN"
17. American Politicians Beware
Randal   (11.04.11)
I am going to vote against some incumbent politicians in the US for not supporting Israel. They have been so corrupt in so many ways. They've got it coming!

Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (11.04.11)
The United States Of America thought it had enough war after World War 1 and was slow to get involved with World War 2. Chamberlain of Britain tried to go the peace route with Hitler. The result was the death of 6 million Jews and so many others as well. If Hitler were here today he would want Perry to go the "peace and reconciliation" route as you suggest. He would love your idea and say "Thank you very much."
19. Not just Perry
Brod ,   USA   (11.04.11)
It is obvious that Perry is trying to survive politically. Unfortunately for him, he does not have the atributes to be President. The fact is all patriotic Americans support Israel in defending itself from the fanatical Ayatollahs' nuke threat and from all external attacks.
20. Harold

Obama is a closet Muslim and his motto is " JIHAD, THE ONLY WAY TO CONQUER THE WORLD"

...and chicken out as soon as he's elected on false pretences.
22. I'd prefer Cain! More Baytzim!
froike ,   ny ny   (11.04.11)
The US has proved it's ready to elect a man of color as President. Now how about a man of color with some backbone, brains, and integrity. Cain was in Israel for an interfaith gathering with Glen Beck, another staunch supporter of Israel. I don't think Cain would hesitate to back an attack on Iran; I also believe he wouldn't allow Israel to stand alone. He understands the essential relationship between Israel and the US.
23. Support Israel with what monopoly money.
Chris.B ,   Australia   (11.04.11)
24. Anything for AIPAC money, even if it hurts america
christianpalestinian ,   chevy chase,maryland   (11.04.11)
Perry should be ashamed of himself.
25. The Giant CAVEAT
Mark of Lewiston ,   USA   (11.04.11)
Even Perry want evidence, not just wild speculation that there is an actual bomb program, "if there is proof Tehran is moving closer to having a nuclear weapon." Perry would have the same handicaps as Obama has, a Congress that opposes optional war and has to way or desire to pay for another optional war. And for all the Israeli talk of military pressure, not a single Israeli ship and not a single IDF soldier is sitting in the Persian Gulf along side The US Navy and US Marines.
26. #19 No one has a stronger record on Israel than Perry
Sue ,   Los Angeles   (11.04.11)
Rick Perry trained with IDF pilots in the 1970s as a captain in the U.S. Air Force. In 1992, as Texas Agricultural Commissioner, he took his first trip to Israel and created the Texas-Israel Exchange to promote scientific research and trade between our two countries. That led to his founding the Texas-Israel Chamber of Commerce in 2005. Israel brings in millions of dollars to its economy each year as a result. The state of Texas also invests in Israel Bonds. A few years ago, while receiving the Defender of Israel award, Governor Perry visited Sderot victims of rocket attacks and discussed border security issues of mutual interest with Israeli officials (Texas has a 1200 mile border with Mexico). In June 2011, the Shurat HaDin asked Perry for help in stopping Americans who were planning to sail to Gaza and participate in the flotilla. Governor Perry wrote Attorney General Eric Holder, urging him to prosecute them for breaking federal law. Recently, Perry was in NY at the invitation of the Jewish community, and at a press conference, condemned the unilateral move in the UN for Palestinian statehood. He also declared that Jerusalem must be united under Israel control. Perry promised that if he is president, the US State Department's headquarters will be in Jerusalem.
27. 24 Christian Palestinina - Not for AIPAC Money
Mark ben Josef ,   USA   (11.04.11)
He is after the Evangelical Iowa vote who thinks all Jews must in-gather to be consumed in nuclear fire for the Second Coming. The was with Iran is part of the necessary in-gathering. Perry has Texas Oil money - doesn't need AIPAC.
28. Whether he's honest or not...
Mike S ,   Phoenix, USA   (11.04.11)
... it's very ridiculous! The USA has always been backing up Israel, and that's OK for many different reasons. But lately it's becoming too appalling and shameful. Even Israelis and Jews themselves should feel disrespected and used in the way it's going on right now. It's STILL America for god's sake!
29. #22 Shmoozing with lobbyists doesn't require "baytzim"
Sue ,   Los Angeles   (11.04.11)
While Rick Perry is a former Air Force captain who flew missions to the Middle East, and assisted Israel for the past twenty years, Cain has no record of support for Israel other than statements. He spent a few hours at the Glenn Beck event this summer. That's his total Israel record. Weeks ago, Cain was asked about the Palestinian "right of return" and had no clue what that was. Then he made a joke about not knowing the name of the president of "U-beki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan," a country on the Afghan border where the U.S. has an air base vital to the war on terror. A few days ago, Bill O'Reilly asked Cain a question on Iran. Cain responded with a clueless answer about Iraq. He clearly has little knowledge or understanding of the Middle East and seems to have learned nothing during his years as a perennial candidate. He has not served in the military or elected office. The truth is, Cain lost every election he was in, and if you are following the news these past few days, you will see the reasons Shmoozing over drinks with businessmen and Washington lobbyists is no proof that Cain has the "baytzim" to deal with Iran. In fact, he has been criticized for sitting on the sidelines during the 1960s while others fought for African-Americans' civil rights.

Isn't Perry a Papist? Isn't Perry a friend to Bush Senior, who has business dealings with the Wahhabhist Saudis (read "The Iron Triangle-Inside the Secret World of the Carlyle Group" by Dan Briody) and whose associate is James Baker-a virulent AntiSemite? Isn't he a friend of Bush Junior who kept protecting Arafat from Israel's justice even though Arafat was sending suicide bombers to kill Israelis?
