This is a claim made without evidence. It contradicts the contention of those responsible for Israel's security. It also contradicts the general feeling in the wider world that is friendly to Israel. I cannot believe that the former head of the Mossad can say this So this could only be a stratagem. When I reviewed his book Man in the Shadows, in Amazon, in 2006, I wrote: But two aspects of his recommendations are questionable. Efraim Halevy and the intelligence community in Israel should be well advised to read up on Islam in the works of Ibn Warraq, Bat Ye'or, Serge Trifkovic , Robert Spencer and Daniel Pipes. Mr Halevy has apparently not done so. Or this is a stratagem.
