Most of us would have love to have a "traditional" family of two parents and children, but Thank G-d there are other alternatives and we don't have to give up on motherhood because we haven't found our basheret. When people marry, realizing they will not have what they want but have to settle for someone less than ideal, they must resolve in their hearts NOT to allow a root of bitterness to develop because of that but to thank HaShem for a wife/husband. The Holy Scriptures warns that a root of bitterness in the heart leads to whoring (for males and females), so the root cause of a lot of the problems you mentioned is bitterness in the heart. When women complain they can't find a "DECENT" man over 30 what they're really saying is they can't find a wealthy man with no past (friendly exes and no children) willing to financially support a woman he barely knows while she lives her dream of popping out babies for a couple years.

If men and women were allowed to see each other and talk and be a regular society, I bet the number would drop. But the Rabbis are taking it in the other direction.
