1. is this NOW published for opinion making against iran ?
eporue ,   europe   (11.06.11)
arad was sold to iran, because you didnt pay for him...
2. Cruel.
Ali ,   Washington, DC   (11.06.11)
No man should endure what this man did. If he's dead, his death must have been too inhumanly embaressing for his captors to talk about. It's cruel to have this going on for so long and I wish those in the know would show some respect and courage and tell us what happened.
3. mr arad u r a great man .. i hope u back to ur family
Jalal ,   Gaza   (11.06.11)
4. Israel fault......
ahmad ,   ramallah   (11.06.11)
our prisoners are out and arad in no where....
5. Nelson Mandella was alive in a prison for over 30 years and
Rivkah   (11.06.11)
then was freed and became an official leader of South Africa. Let us hope the same for Ron Arad. He has not been gone for 30 years. It is possible to survive and released if HaShem opens the doors.
6. where are the holier then thou "humanitarians"?
art ,   jersey city usa   (11.06.11)
How vicious. How inhuman. How horribly cruel. Where is interpol, ICC Amnasty Internat'l? Since 1986 he has been held, traded like chattel. Is he still alive? How terribly has he been tortured. Did they kill him? No releases of terrorists without freedom for arad. No peace talks without his return
7. 6 Art, Jersey City, USA: The Amnasty Internation as you
Rivkah   (11.06.11)
call it, the International Red Cross and Red Crescant, etc. are the same place they were when I asked them to look into the involuntary sedation of Ariel Sharon who is still being sedated against his will after nearly six years instead of being allowed to recover with elevated lymphatic tissue oxygen levels of 14 ppm with Cellfood Nobel Laureate formula for reversing strokes and diseases. They don't want to get involved. Beats me why they give some people their attention and not others.
8. Cruel... Yes it is Ali
Eve ,   Jerusalem/Vancouver   (11.06.11)
Your comments are intuitive and without malice ... It is without a doubt refreshing. I feel for his wife and child, with all this news out. I pray he will return home alive, is my first choice, but the other just to bring him home to Israel and his family.
9. Ron Arad
Ralph ,   Caesarea   (11.06.11)
He is alive, Israel should kidnap Nasrallah family members to swap.
10. Nice to see some of our palestinian brothers comment...
Sandra ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (11.06.11)
Has Israel given up hope for Ron Arad? Why is one captive worth negotiating and prisoner release, and another apparently not? Our government should press for new proof of life, and the international community should press for his immediate release!
11. It's sad to say,
Mike ,   Toronto/Modi'in   (11.06.11)
but its extremely likely Mr. Arad either divulged everything he knew and was rendered obsolete , then executed or he was tortured to death. Regardless,we must keep his name alive as a Great Man who lived in our times. As well, this story should reflect on our PM's guidance and good judgement in securing Gilad Shalit.
12. It is Unforgivable that Israel Freed 1,027 Muslim Terrorists
Linda Rivera ,   New York, USA   (11.06.11)
and did not demand the return of Ron Arad and the other POW/MIAs. How could Israeli leaders do such a terrible thing?
13. #8, #10
Ali ,   Washington, DC   (11.07.11)
Palestinians and Israelis differ on a lot of things, but our humanity is at least 90% of what makes us who we are as individuals. Arad is one of many tragedies in this conflict. My heart goes out to all of them. We're destined to live together as neighbours and I hope that our grandchildren will read about our times in history class together and fail to understand it because it's nothing they've experienced in their life.
14. help us
liron   (11.11.11)
