Not surprisingly, doctors are willing to circumcise a newborn boy and insurance will pay for it at the hospital. But I am yet to hear that a doctor recommends circumcision as a procedure healthy or beneficial in any way. The argument about hygiene has been dropped because taking good showers accomplishes HIV protection on a par with circumcision. It is from doctors that I heard male circumcision leads to sexual dysfunctions. Who knows, maybe this is why so many couples involving a Jewish male are mixed in the U.S.? This barbaric custom is on its last leg legally. Circumcisions will be officially banned world over and will not be covered by insurance soon. Watch and see.

I think that the talk in medical and political fora, has been sparked by an increased interest and popularity of circumcision in Europe. I don't know what's going on in the us with the small fragments of anti-circumcision troops raging on with all sorts of wild accusations, because it seems to me like they think that Europe is heading in that direction themselves. In the western world we are handing out free vaccines for a cancer which was found to be caused by a bacteria which grows under the foreskin. Instead of looking at this and debating foreskin, the governments here a avoided the research and it's findings, focused entirely on the vaccine and continue to debate the relevance of circumcision while completely ignoring or downplaying it's religious AND somatic benefits.

circumcision is culture? wow.- It is a Human Right? It is healthy. It is beautiful. a covenant- It boggles the mind what reason people come up with...
