1. Rabbi NOT a terrror victim
bob ,   potomac md usa   (11.11.11)
The rabbi was killed because his car sped through a checkpoint. At best, he was impersonating a terrorist--or suicidal. Ann Arab doing the same thing would have received the same response.
2. threats of plo violence from ramallah
marcel   (11.11.11)
ramallah threatens violence if UN rejects palestine membership. Abbas, ereckat, rudineh-you and your colleagues will the first ones targeted if violence breaks out. Abbas -listen carefully-you and your loves ones will be smashed if you authorize violence directly or indirectly.
3. Amazing...
Ben Alofs ,   Bangor, UK   (11.11.11)
In 20 years time when this Israeli has become a statistic it will be assumed that he was a "terror victim", not of trigger happy Israeli soldiers, but of "Palestinian terrorists". This is just another example of the level of denial Israel is engaged in.
4. IDF Soldier
Concerned ,   US   (11.11.11)
My condolences to the family in this horrible accident. Wondering if there is any information about the IDF soldier who was run over by the truck after the incident? One line in the previous article and nothing here?
5. AS IF MONEY CAN COMPENSATE
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (11.11.11)
6. Terror !!!!!
Jimi ,   Ramallah   (11.11.11)
Of course it's terror action Yes , those who takeover others' land and kill each other at that land are terrorists He was killed because IDF uses soft fingers to kill Palestinians and so this is the result Believe me ... Just leave and keep life for many before it's too late
7. Terror victims
Scott2371   (11.11.11)
My sympathies to the victims and their families, regardless of what happened. One positive aspect of this sad occurrence, Israel has scored a point by claiming 3 more victims of Palestinian aggression. All the more important in the court of world opinion.
8. Its a sign for all Rabbis?
Josh   (11.11.11)
"Stop, and Teach Torah only." We have to obey and avoid the consequences of being passive in a dangerous situation.
9. Good riddance.
Salma ,   Palestine   (11.11.11)
10. so civilians killed by mistake in Gaza, WB are terror victim
observer ,   Egypt   (11.11.11)
11. IDF 'Terrible Judgement' Victim
Reid ,   Washington USA   (11.11.11)
Pad the terrorism stats and add to the welfare state. Somehow the American tax payer will be footing the bill or adding to the foreign aid we give to help the illegal occupation. Leave the West Bank!
12. Jews are victims, Arabs are terrorists
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (11.11.11)
...no matter what happens. An innocent Arab could have been the victim here, but he would have been declared a terrorist, because of his race. Good Morning Israel.
13. #3 Ben Alofs
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (11.11.11)
Israeli Arabs have the same exact license tags as the Jews have Since the car was ignoring the commands to halt, it appeared that it was an Israeli Arab, using his car, in an attempt to murder IDF soldiers or carrying a bomb intending to destroy as many people as possible After all, we do have Israeli Arab traitors in the Knesset don't we, we also had Israeli Arabs cheering when Israel was under bombardment for Saddam's Scuds ?
14. #10 Observer - You're correct
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (11.11.11)
Civilians killed in Gaza are the result of Hamas' using them for Human Shields or hiding in their midst, victims of Hama's Terror
15. Post #9 is reason to ban this filth forever. "Good riddance"
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (11.11.11)
to a rabbi who supports a wife and five children in a career as an architect? Not a pig who builds missiles that shoot into the sky aimlessly and fall on civilians but a person who helps builds homes or building where people earn a living. It is time to ban this salma filth.
16. #14, thanks
observer ,   Egypt   (11.11.11)
the many security men living among settlers use them as human shields.
17. Bunny baby
john robey ,   austin, texas   (11.11.11)
You disagree with Salma so let's ban what she writes...very conductive to the free and open exchange of viewpoints.
18. More Information Required
meir elazar   (11.11.11)
The key question is whether the reports are accurate and complete. If so, why did the Rabbi not comply with directives to stop. With the recent release of terrorists and the terrorist attacks in Dimona and Jerusalem, the current operational directives are shoot to kill. Take no prisoners that might provide incentive for PALs to kidnap soldiers for future exchanges.

Clearly you are unaware that over 90% of border guards and West Bank security personnel are Druze -- you know, Arabic-speakers, so that they can speak most fluently with the ersatz "Palestinian" trouble-makers, criminals and terrorists. Is using innocent civilians as human shields an Arab specialty? It would appear so.
20. To: No. 12
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.11.11)
I suppose one could ask the Fogel family. Unfortunately, five of them had their throats slit while they slept, so we will not get a response. The best we can do is judge on the basis of the FACTS IN EVIDENCE.
21. To: No. 17
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.11.11)
Please find one post submitted by Salma that addresses substantive issues in a calm, reasoned and intellectual manner. (I'll save you the trouble -- there aren't any.)
22. To: No. 6
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.11.11)
Your land? YOUR land? Judea and Samaria are non-sovereign territories and while nearly every ersatz "Palestinian" can produce a rusty key, almost no one can produce a deed. Besides -- even if you could -- sorry. War is hell. You people have gone to war against Israel six times, and lost all six. There are consequences to bad acts. You "people" are living proof. You therefore lose all right to complain when things go unexpectedly. That does not mean that you don't have to suck it up and face the consequences, however unpleasant, of your stupid decisions and even more stupid actions. No one forced you to go to war; no one forced you to turn to terror; no one forced you to reject three opportunities for a two-state solution, including, most recently, one which would have awarded the ersatz "Palestinians" 90% of the West Bank and East Jerusalem as a capital. But no, you chose to start the second intifada instead. That did not go terribly well for you, but that is not the fault of Israel. You people are congenitally incapable of taking responsibility for the consequences of your actions. And no, you are fresh out of more bites out of the apple. Sooner or later, Israel is going to annex Judea and Samaria. Probably sooner. And when that happens, Arabs squatting in the West Bank will be repatriated to Jordan, country of their citizenship. We've had our fill of you, your violence and your terrorism.
23. #17 Robey
Devorah   (11.11.11)
I've read your talkbacks in the past, and you come from the same toxic cesspool as Salma. Both of you come to this Jewish site to snipe and get attention. That's all. You never offer constructive criticism, nor are either of you capable of intelligently engaging in a "free and open exchange of viewpoints." So cut the crap, Robey.
24. Terror victim?
Ray ,   Mayfield New Zealand   (11.12.11)
I don't think so!
25. Terrorist victims?
Rita   (11.12.11)
Any one who has nothing to hid will stop at a checkpoint and not try to ram through it. I feel more sympathy for the young soldier who was protecting his country, his life and those of his brothers. The rabbi is dead because of his own stupidity. He behaved like a terrorist, was not a victim and paid with his life. His family does not deserve to receive special treatment because he had no respect for the young Israeli boys who put their lives on the line to protect people like him. He knew better than most, being from Hebron that this would create a tragic incident. He had no respect for the Israelis who defend them and pay taxes to support him. Israel must stop supporting these people who only care about themselves and not the greater good of our Jewish people and nation.
26. #16 Observer - Thanks for the info
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (11.12.11)
I hadn't realized that Jews were living in Gaza Now, just for a change, why not comment on something you have actually seen? It doesn't matter which Alias you use, the posts are all equally boring
27. cannot agree with you more
Jae ,   Jerusalem   (11.12.11)
yes, I do feel more sympathy to the young soldier rather than the rabbi who ignored the checkpoint.
