34. Anton - and rightfully so
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (11.12.11)
Iran's president has been threatening Israel, denying the holocaust and trying to build nuclear arms capability. Tiny Israel has all the good reasons to be nervous and be prepared. Here in the USA we say 'Better safe then sorry'. The truth is that even Turkey should be nervous from this development in Iran. As you may - or maybe may not - know Iran with the cooperation of Syria recently has been supporting the PKK activity in Turkey. You may want to deny it conveniently but the news that Syria's Assad had said he may use the PKK card against Turkey was all over the Turkish media last week. But as usual you prefer to go with your personal feelings rather then the realities and continue to support Iran and Syria against Israel blindly. Unfortunately this kind of behavior carried the Ottoman empire to WW I. and you must have studied the results in your history education in high school. Iyi aksamlar.

before i answer to your post i would like to say its always nice to see you around even thou sometimes you appear to be hostile to me :) i was merely saying that its israel thats nervous i wasnt picking any sides i dont know if you would belive but the reason i still make comments here and not arabs sites or iranian site is that i still favour israel more than whole arabs combined, having said that i think its best turkey and israel stay apart for not to engage in awar :) and for other reasons as for support of pkk yes you are correct but let me remind you also that liberman a state offical of israel openly said that they will support and help not only pkk but greece cyprus armenians etc etc so i think israel is alittle bit ahead of iran in supporting our enemies dont you think? :) i dont support iran or syria its just i am criticizing a former friend thats all ;)

As far as the friendship is concerned ity was not Israel that ended it. It all started when PM Erdogan's infamous words at Davos and continued with many other hostilities. For Liberman you have a good point but let me remind you that these are reactions to Erdogan's hostilities. many Israelis and Jews do not support him while at least 50% of Turks (maybe more considering that even once leftist Serdar Turgut also is now on that camp) support AKP and Erdogan.
39. #21 - I agree with you this time
William ,   Israel   (11.13.11)
I doubt it was Israel this time. Iran has so many enemies globally, with that number growing each day. There's no telling who did it. Iran is battling everything from those "evil Zionists", to non-existent homosexuals, from "Imperialist Westerners" to Sunnis infidels. from dozens of oppressed internal populations to other Arab countries vying for the "right" to lead the highly-fractious, argumentative Arab nations. And let's not forget those spy pigeons and squirrels. Even the animal kingdom in against the Mullahs. The only ones who support Iran's thugs are German oil companies and "Palestinians".
40. #35 - seems like Turkey is a bit sensitive
William ,   Israel   (11.13.11)
You seem to bring up Lieberman's comments quite a bit as a "threat" and proof of Israel's ill intentions. Let's focus on his words in context. Lieberman didn't say Israel DID help the PKK and didn't say Israel will help them. Actually, Lieberman said Israel SHOULD help them....in response to Turkey's ACTUAL assistance to Hamas, a terrorist group who declared a unilateral illegal war on Israel and commits war crimes. Turkey actively aids Hamas on the global scene, actively works to delegitimize Israel, and has openly threatened Israel (and other neighbors) with military force on issues that aren't even near Turkey's sovereign control. So, let's re-cap. So far, Turkey has acted badly against Israel for many years, even aiding those who commit war crimes to kill Israelis. And Israel has recently only weakly threatened doing the same with the PKK and some known targets of Turkey's aggressions. Can you say "hubris"? After all of the illegal and violent crap your country has pulled, and they're upset that some one dare to utter the same in response (though not in action)?
