1. So What If It Dries Up?
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (11.22.11)
Environmentalists are at odds with evolutionists. Either things evolve, change with the times and conditions and adapt or you freeze the natural process and things die. Imagine if environmentalists were around when we were monkeys. We'd still be monkeys! So what if the sea dries out? That's part of the evolutionary process of Nature. It's the way the world adjusts to changing conditions. It has to to change to survive. Let it do so.

Great now these supporters are clothed, how bout just calling the nudies back and have em whizz some nitrite acid tri-anually and every fourth shabot that should do it, definitely will be salty, a Dead Sea and all the aromas of home.
3. I feel so sad about the Dead Sea.

Can nothing be done to save it? How beautiful it is down there. The healing powers of the water is a Blessing!

What callous disregard for a truly unique place. The dead sea is being destroyed by human greed. If we curtail that greed, let the water flow, stem the abuse of mineral rights, and act like responsible stewards of the land, we can let the dead sea live for another several thousand years. Leave more than we inherit. That should be our mantra. You are the problem.

The Dead Sea is not drying up as a result of evolution but as a direct result of humans intervention. (Read the article.) And there have been many cases throughout the world where the result of humans’ intervention was unexpected and detrimental.

Should we consider effect of human activity as part of evolutionary process? Probably we should, but in this case humans who are opponents of human activity are also part of evolutionary process. Who will win?
