These two orchestras are going to waste a good deal of money on this legal battle. Whatever happened to loving the music?

Obviously, the man wasn't all that "dim." As to how he amassed such wealth, it's called, "living frugally, saving consistently, investing wisely, and not let your kids know where you stashed it :-) BTW, US $$ 1M really isn't what you'd call "wealth," although, if your house is free and clear and you have good health insurance, it allows you to tell the whole world to kiss off, which is saying it charmingly. Dr. Nassau should have put his fortune into a Trust, added an "in terrorem" and nobody would be fighting or suing, but would come to a very amicable agreement.
5. Two Orchestras
NYC Girl   (11.29.11)
The easiest thing would be to just split the proceeds of the estate and give half to each orchestra. It will save the lawyer's fees...and anyway a million dollars isn't what it used to be these days.
6. will
sas ,   israel   (11.29.11)
divide it equally between the 2 orchestras!!
7. Why such a greed ? Make it 50/50.
olim hadashim ,   tel aviv/israel   (11.29.11)
8. will
sas ,   israel   (11.29.11)
divide it equally between the 2 orchestras.
9. The perfect solution
James ,   Reading England   (11.30.11)
Let them both play one of the Bruckner symphonies (doesn't matter which) at the same time and, whoever can keep going the longest, wins the dosh!
