During the world war II all the Albanian Jews with the exception of 3 persons ( part of the Arditi family) were protected and saved by the Albanian people.All of them....and not only! Thousand of Jews from the neighboring countries were saved as well, many of them reached Israel and their families still live here. For such e small country there are tens of Righteos Among the Nations honoured in Yad VAshem!
