We may even find a situation where Hezbollah pulls off a coup and they take over and nobody in NATO is going to want to mess with them out of fear Hezbollah terror will spread abroad. The fact Russia is now sending an aircraft carrier and anti ship missiles to Syria will ensure there will be no NATO action because they don't want to risk a firefight with Russia. The Arab League is unlikely to use force against one of their own, Gaddafi wasn't an arab. Syria's best hope is actually Israel if NATO leaders convince Israel to go do the dirty work because Israel can take the diplomatic fallout and Russia will leave Assad to shoot it our with Israel rather than getting involved.
