1. Seeds of Anti-Semitism sprouting in US Administration
Roland Seener ,   London England   (12.04.11)
2. "Hill" of beans
leah ,   Jerusalem   (12.04.11)
Who asked you?? This is totally out of your domain. Mind your own business!
3. This doesn't smell a good stuff.
Keren ,   IL-BR   (12.04.11)
I don't like Obama's administration at all. They seem to be now trying to pick up a fight with Israel ,following the line they have used to provoque the fall of dictators who does not interest Obama in the arab world,as if that could be compared to Israel. In Israel women are free as in no place in this world and religious matters belong to us to debate and not to Clinton. Be aware because this stinks! And I wonder what Livni, the fool, was doing there along with Ashkenazy and others. Are these ones that stupid ??
4. Clinton should be afraid of Americas democracy
Tom , ,   Lagos,Nigeria   (12.04.11)
America is confusing democracy with extreme leftist ideologies, at the same time they are allowing the enemies of world peace to oppress and torment the innocent, the US is departing from its core democratic values to extreme leftism
5. Since Clinton is NOT an Israeli citizen, I suggest she
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (12.04.11)
focus on matters related to the United States of America, no Israel. And, if she truly insist on getting her nose into matters which are not of her business, why not focus on the rise of Islamism in the Arab world and the drive to bring about the Shari'ah into public and legal affairs of the Muslim-Arab world? But, of course, Clinton, like Clinton and Obama, has rather praised the rise to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, for instance. One wonders, why...??
6. What a joke!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.04.11)
The queen mother of the Whitewater scandal is concerned over Israeli democracy. Remember the matter of the subpoena that was served upon her when her husband was in the White House? She initially claimed that she had retained no papers. Then, two years later, she opened a closet door and "Oh, look what I found!" All her documents concerning the Whitewater transaction. Of course, Vince Foster was already dead by then -- killed by a "self-inflicted" gunshot wound to the back of the head. Mrs. Clinton is a ruthless, self-serving b**h who thinks she is above the law. She is the last person on earth to express concern over any country's democracy, given how she has always run roughshod over American democratic principles.
7. Although....
aline silverman ,   israel   (12.04.11)
....I deplore certain things happening in Israel. 1...They DO NOT represent the majority of Israeli people. 2...What right has she got to criticize Israel....THE POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK.... Do we go and criticize the USA for everything happening there?....and what about DEATH SENTENCE which still exists in certain states of America?....CHUTZPAH !!!!
8. Clinton's impartiality questioned
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (12.04.11)
Clinton does not have to worry about our democracy. It is thriving with everyone free to give their opinion; Ynet is a great example. HOwever what about life in the Arab West Bank? Can a Jew buy a house there? Can a Jew rent a house there? Can a Jew get a job in the Arab government there? NO! So where is the concern for Arab democracy? Perhaps there is a consensus that there is no such thing.
9. The right words for the right people
Abraham Nachmias ,   Petach Tikva IL   (12.04.11)
She was talking for Livni and Meridor, two irrevelant politicians who share ideas and dependance in USA money. We all know she is no friend of Israel, so, who cares about what she says?
10. concern
colin   (12.04.11)
The concubine of the islamic american president says in her normaL;lieing tone that she has great concern !!!!. LET HILLARY CLINTON KNOW IN NO UNCERTAION TERMS TAHT NOBODY IN ISRAEL GIVE THE SLIGHTEST DAMN OF HER CONCERNS
11. wonder woman at her best
michel ,   israel   (12.04.11)
Hilary is certainly reassured by the evolving "democracy" in Syria, Cairo, and her other middle east friends....
12. the Clintons are so foul, I would not even know where..
Brian ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (12.04.11)
...to begin, they are the main ones interfering in Israeli politics, Ehud Barak was their little Jew puppet bought and paid for, they ran his campaign, when he was PM, they fund and control the protests that have been taking place, and many anti Israel NGO's. They are sooooo foul. Livni is Hilaries favorite little evil minion against Israel.
13. Question for Ms Clinton
Ex-american   (12.04.11)
During WWII would the US government have approved of foreign governments covertly funding "human rights groups" who called for making concessions to the Japanese and Germans? Somehow I doubt it.
14. "Genuine fear, my a$$."
Devorah   (12.04.11)
Clinton doesn't give a damn about Israel nor the Jews (men or women), and her track record proves that quite easily. She is scraping the bottom of the barrel with her blame game. Why? Because that's where she spends all her time when she's not floating in the gutter with Hussein Obama, Catherine Ashton, Leon Panetta, and the rest of the usual suspects.
15. IDF sanctity of marriage also right defence without holes
Martin ,   SA   (12.04.11)
Troops including married men and fathers do not need strippers etc confusing their relationship under cover of being in the army. Troops are not far from home in the main and are thus not isolated in faraway lands. Hillary respect the sanctityb of maaiage unions. Its not for you to infere on a basic level never mind a religious level. Our country has an has an electoral system. This is democratic. It astound me that NGO's feel they have the right to interfere with the politics of a country just by sending money they that right even if they are in no way directly in danger of terrorists and do not represent a significant group of voters. If NGOs' do represent such voters let them prove it before they the right to interfear. Hillary your suggestion is undemocratic in that NGOs' usually undermine the electorate and weaken the democratic nature of our country. Perhaps Hillary with respect have another look at the definitions of orderly living and democratic processes before get so bothered as to enter the frey. We are happy that our politicians see fit to eliminate or regulate such organisations and oblige them to be under the scrutiny of the law they wish to interfear with.
16. US Executive Branch Anti-Israel
John ,   Alaska   (12.04.11)
I note that the past 4 articles of official US statements concerning Israel are uniformly negative and uniformly are from members of the Executive branch of the US Federal government. The ambassador to Belgium as well as both Clinton and Panetta are unelected officials chosen by, and ultimately answerable to the Chief Executive, B. Hussein Obama. None of these people represent America, as the 2012 elections will demonstrate.
17. Is is blindness?
Asher ,   USA   (12.04.11)
There is a revolution taking place in the Middle East, being led by a reactionary social movement. The movement wants to eliminate the role of women in soceity, do away with religious pluralism, kill gay people, and destroy Israel. The US Adminstration calls this an Arab Spring - that is democratic. Rather then deal with the reality on the ground - they focus their criticism on Israeli issues? What is going on? For oil are they willing to do away with their basic principles?
18. Concern
Steve ,   Melbourne, Australia   (12.04.11)
I watch what is happening in my beloved Israel with concern. A massive shift to the right (borne out by the extreme comments I see here on Ynet).....anyone who disagrees with what the right are doing is branded a "leftist" - Meir Dagan et al. now's your chance to pull Israel back to the centre!!!
19. women and other things in Israel
an Israeli American   (12.04.11)
Clinton knows very little about Israel, it's workings and women in Israel. Clinton does not understand the Jewish religion or our culture. She is an ignorant person who is in a position of power, who has a tendency to do damage and not help, even though she thinks she is helping. She should keep her thoughts and comments to herself, like all of the Obama administration. Their ignorance and lack of respect for Jews and Israel are enormous and just damaging. May G-d continue to protect and guide Israel, including from people like her.
20. undiplomatic
nadav   (12.04.11)
can any one imagine the furor if and Israeli FM or an FM/?PM from another country made comments on America's domestic policies?! The White House would be outraged and use diplomatic sanction against them. There is plenty to criticize about US domestic policy, including endemic racism in all levels of society, nativism, populism, electoral chaos, limiting of the right of free assembly, lackof healthcare coverage for everyone, widespread homelessness, corrupt government spending, torture of prisoners of war and the death penalty are just a few things that one can criticize!
21. The NAZIcrats are the Enemies of Israel!
John ,   Maryland   (12.04.11)
The NAZIcrats are out to destroy America, Britain and Israel for the Islamic caliphate.
22. Clinton misinforming
Sam   (12.04.11)
The left clique here and there are an echo chamber. They repeat the same lies to each other until they can't question the party line.
23. Bills were copied from the US
hypocracy   (12.04.11)
how dare she say those bills are anti democratic without even checking them first just to find out they already exist in the states
24. A question
Robert ,   Australia   (12.04.11)
Are women allowed to drive cars in Israel?
25. better she fear the plight of women in Egypt
clearlighted ,   alaska   (12.04.11)
26. Clinton hugged S. Arafat
Steve   (12.04.11)
I will never forget, After Suha Arafat, the late Yasser Arafat's wife, gave this rant about how the Jews are poisoning Palestinian children - like some kind of ancient blood libel - Clinton rose to hug and embrace Arafat.
27. She should stay silent!
chantalle.ezer ,   Frankfurt Germany   (12.04.11)
Some years ago, the Obama administration had been concerned about German democracy too. Background: That time presidential candidate Obama was not allowed to speak in front of the Brandenburger Tor. She should come to Egypt and watch the impact of the 'new Democracy': the Egyptian democracy does not exist anymore, the Salafists have won most of the votes, well-trained and well-educated people fled the country and churches are torched. C. Ezer, Cairo
28. It's so obvious who's whispering in her ear
Judith PPF of Judea   (12.04.11)
Such utter ignorance and exaggeration about diverse Israel. Usual leftist suspects poisoning the atmosphere and using foreigners to bash Bibi. She's right, however, about the Hardim (Utlra Orthodox) who are becoming like radical Muslims, however, most of Israeli society won't put up with religious insanity. So no need to get all puffed up! Even among the Haredim there will be a breaking point. People can suffer just a certain amout of stifling and suffocation. It always explodes in the end...
29. Wife of serial perjurer speaks against Israel.
Yonatan Koss ,   Chiloquin,   (12.04.11)
Champions woman's rights??? I am surprised she isn't proclaiming polyamory to be the wave of the future with as many women as her philandering husband Billy "The Cigar" Clinton has schtuped. Her husband was impeached but not removed from orifice. I say let the shiksa denounce Israel, anything she is against must be good. This is the Mrs. Clinton who kissed Arafat's wife isn't it?
30. A well founded concern of a true friend of Israel
Gady   (12.04.11)
