2. Ungrateful Jews want more and more from America
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (12.11.11)
...its never enough. One day soon the Jews will be on their own, again.
3. Obama soft?
valcanoman ,   N.W. WA. ST. USA   (12.11.11)
Obama also wants the islamic votes.
4. A weak President who just wants a second term.
Beauchard   (12.11.11)
Obama professes that a nuclear Iran would be a disaster for the western world. Yet he refuses to take the necessary measures to stop Iran. Why? The answer is quite simple. Iran could react to crippling sanctions by interfering with the flow of oil from the Gulf States. This would have short-term negative economic consequences in the US and the rest of the western world. This in turn would have a negative impact on Obama's chances for re-election. To put it more compactly: Obama is a President who would sacrifice the world to get a second term.
5. Are there still some people who believe
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (12.11.11)
in Santa Claus ??? OF COURSE Obama and his administration will do NOTHING, to prevent the Iranians from going nuclear....they just handed them over their spy drone on a silver plate...!!!
6. So what?
Robert ,   Australia   (12.12.11)
Obama has more important things with which to concern himself than Israel. Why do Israelis regard themselves as central to the fate of the universe?
7. In other news: an egg bagel rolled of a deli in Brooklyn
Moshe ,   Israel   (12.12.11)
8. who is soft? the post itself?
fred lapides ,   orange, USA   (12.12.11)
If Obama is "soft," what would you have him do? He is in two wars now..add a third because Israel would like Iran attacked and will not do it alone" What should the US do when the Saudis try also for nukes? It is not enough to say he is soft.Say what you think he ought to do
9. #6, just as we do not speak for Australia's leadership...
Henry from New York ,   USA   (12.12.11)
please do not speak for ours. Israel is important not just because of the American Jews, but also because it is a strategic asset for us. It is our main center of influence in the Middle East and also a good ally that provides us with technology and brain power (gotta love those yoredim). If you could answer a question for me; it seems like every Australian I have met on the web has an opinion about how every other country should be run. Why does this seem to be the case?
10. Rottenloser a question
Rudolf ,   Lap   (12.12.11)
Are you saying there is no Santa Claus. I hope you are shafted by an elf
11. So you like France and the UK's approach?
esnuffnstl ,   USA   (12.12.11)
Excellent. We'll let them take the lead. Between the two of them, they might even have enough air power to lead the attack on Iran (if necessary.) Consider this a trial run for the near future when the US military has shrunk to a more affordable size.
12. To: No. 2
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.12.11)
Frankly, most of us cannot wait. The United States needs Israel far more than Israel needs the United States, except the current administration is too moronic and short-sighted to realize that Israel is absolutely the only stable ally that the United States has in the region. Unless, of course, you think that the hordes of Moslems burning American flags and chanting "Death to America!" constitute potential allies. In the meantime, I note for the record that thousands of American servicemen and women have died on behalf of Arabs and Moslems; not Jews or Israel. So STFU -- we know you are an ignoramus; you do not have to keep on proving the fact.
13. #2 Hey Paisan
Cynthia ,   USA   (12.12.11)
About time you realize Iran is a threat to the US. Your obsession with Jews and Israel won't make that threat go away. And we won't shield you either so grow some cajones already!
14. #8
Jane   (12.12.11)
Here's what he should do: get out of the White House and let someone who is smart, wise, capable, experienced and knowledgeable do the job. This Obama has always been an empty shell with no experience and no historical perspective. How he was elected is beyond me, other than white guilt. Did no one do their research? There, Fred Lapides, is what he ought to do.
15. hurray for the brits

16. Appeasement!! This has been Obama's call to action.
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (12.12.11)
17. You know, I hadn't thought of it before, but...
Henry from New York ,   USA   (12.12.11)
look at Obama's hair. It is not anywhere near grey enough at this point in time. When I voted for this guy I expected him to be fully grey by 2012. Why? Because it would be a sign that he was working incredibly hard. Obama was built up to be this nearly messianic figure. Maybe it was other people who did a lot of it, but at the same time he never did anything to simmer them down or remind people he was just a man (it would not have been good politically speaking of course), and so he has an obligation to the American people to work himself to the bone and attempt live up to the expectations he encouraged people to place on him. It's his job as President to give his all for his country. That is what comes with the job, Such a disappointment.
18. #8, be a leader and take command of the country!
Henry from New York ,   USA   (12.12.11)
That is why we voted for him. He made us all believe he would fix this country and so he has an obligation to. It's also kind of the job of the President to do so. You can't go easy on them, they signed up for this.
19. So? What else is new? The sea is salty?
Scott ,   USA   (12.12.11)
20. acting together?
jerri i ,   NYC   (12.12.11)
It looks like the only action of the Obama administration is to look for ways to discourage Israel from attacking Iran. In fact as pointed out above it appears that the US purposely lost the UAV so that Israel would be discouraged by the prospect of a joint effort by Russia, China, and Iran to defend against an attack by Israel. It also seems that Russia has secretly supplied Iran with what it hopes Iran will use to repell an Israeli attack on it's nuclear and missile bases.
21. it shows what really is in his mind
MICHEL ,   ISRAEL   (12.12.11)
the hate of western values and of Israel is stronger than anything for him.His aim always was to create the conditions of the end of US lead in the world, and it`s succeding.
22. Obama is focused on...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (12.12.11)
...the United States and its (massive) problems. And rightfully so! He shouldn't waste too much time and energy on what is going on on the other side of the world. Maybe Obama has been wise enough to take some foreign policy advice from Ron Paul.
23. #12 what a joke !
(12.12.11)
America needs Israel? Lol. That made my day. What planet are you living on, sweetie?
24. #22, completely incorrect.
Henry from New York ,   USA   (12.12.11)
He was first (for about two years or so) focused on making friends with everyone at the expense of progress and fixing the country. After that failed, he decided he would spend the latter half of his first term campaigning for re-election. Sorry if you've heard otherwise, but that's just the way it is. When you live in DC for the last year and a half (during the week), you tend to pick things up.
25. Guess Israel should Take Over Negotiations
Mark ben Josef ,   USA   (12.12.11)
Since Obama is such a wuss in Israel's opinion, He should just back the US out and let Israel take over negotiations. Of course, Israel should not commit the US to anything it does not have the votes in Congress for, and enough to override a Presidential veto, too.
26. #24, I meant last three and a half years... should sleep.
Henry from New York ,   USA   (12.12.11)
27. #23, similar to when people said the US was becoming...
Henry from New York ,   USA   (12.12.11)
irrelevant with regard to the UN. Of course we all know how true that turned out to be (after we dropped our UNESCO funding). Luckily the people we elected to run our country usually know better than we do on such matters.
28. #22.Gunner - If Sweden was in trouble, Obama shouldn't waste
Abraham ben Jacob ,   Canada   (12.12.11)
his time to help you because as you stated Obama has the US. problems ....... " He shouldn't waste too much time and energy on what is going on on the other side of the world." And that includes any Sweden problems, right ?
29. America is at war in Iran, you anonymous govt ingrates
Abe Froman ,   NY, NY   (12.12.11)
Iranian missile bases are exploding, missile program chiefs are getting vaporized, American drones are getting shot down in an undeclared war in Iran; but America is too soft? Are Israeli officials blind, or just ingrates?
30. A piss & moan session in the grand YNET tradition
