Question now is who will replace Kim Jong Il his son who he has been grooming for the job over the past year or so or will the army refuse to accept him and appoint their own man? I very much doubt we are going to be seeing any Korean unification or an end to radical military rule. On the plus side its good at least North korea isn't going to be the victim of an islamist take over.

what does this mean for exports of north korean missiles and nuclear technology? will the new rulers be more pragmatic, and open up the country to the rest of the world, or will they be too insecure for that, and close up even more? a closed north korea has fewer options for trade, and will be more inclined to export dangerous materials to israel's enemies.
