1. This is hilarious
Avi ,   Ramat Gan   (12.21.11)
"Women from Kadmia-Making Israel sane again" Way to fight exclusion by putting a Kadima label on it that may make people with similar views from other parties uncomfortable to march with you. I'm not a woman and i'm not of or for Kadima, but this is a march I would have taken part in if I didn't feel so...whats the word? EXCLUDED!
2. HAREDI RELIGOUS PEOPLE
DANNY TAWIL ,   ENGLAND   (12.21.11)
I DONT WONT ISRAEL TO BECOME LIKE THAT SHIT COUNTRY SAUDI ARABIA ESPECIALLY. IRAN EGYPT,ETC NO WAY. THEY THE HAREDI HAVE NO ROOM TO TALK THEY DONT WORK, AND THEY LIVE OFF THE STATE, AND ARE INDOCTRINATED BY THE BLOODY RELIGOUS RABBI,S. AND EVEN SOME REFUSE TO GO IN THE ARMY.
3. Too good to be true
jonathan ,   israel   (12.21.11)
Tzipi said "Hanukkah is a holiday of light, but a great darkness is descending upon Israel" MEANING, ¡the darkness of Torah against the light of liberalism and democracy! Does anyone notice the irony?! she is using the exact same words of the Sages of blessed memory with the exact opposite meaning!!!
4. This is disgusting
John Fedup ,   Miami, FL   (12.21.11)
The ultimate of disgusting! If this was happening in a muslim or Arab country they would be called all sort of name and calls for justice and reforms. But because it's happening in Israel (the most democratic country in the Middle East...yeah right!!!) it's ignored! The ultimate in hypocrisy and disgust.
5. A GREAT DARKNESS NAMED LIVNI
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (12.21.11)
6. Haredei
Rochel ,   Los Angeles USA   (12.21.11)
Haredim men: Now YOU'RE going to sit in the back of the bus or you will have to get off the bus. Shey lo asani ISH!
7. this is being used for political purposes
david ,   new york   (12.21.11)
is this really about getting a good seat on a haredi bus? seems like this lady sought out this bus trying to get her 15 minutes of fame so she can push her activist agenda. btw: livni makes me want to vomit. is there anything about religion or zionism that she won't protest?? kadima is a bankrupt party
8. something stinks
moti ,   usa   (12.21.11)
i bet this whole incident with this lady on the bus was politically, or media planned, as a #2 rosa parks kinda incident... dont think this whole story is credible
9. I knew it!
Yosef ,   Ashdod, Israel   (12.21.11)
I knew this girl was politically motivated! My intuition told me there was something fishy with all the story, she's a journalist, an innocent victim!? Ha! yeah sure! I'm against segregation but this was far to clear for me, it was all a well synchronized charade, well done, TANYA, well done TZIPI! Ha!
10. nutty focus
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (12.21.11)
Israel doesn't have real problems? Like housing is so high, public offical corruption, discrimination, and constant rocket attacks, arab terror, etc, etc... So why do we focus on tiny minority idiots?? because it is yellow journalism at its best.
11. Women's Rights + Avi #1
A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (12.21.11)
I don't agree with a lot of things that Livni stands for, but in this case she is right. The Haridim are trying to force all of us to live according to their life style. That is not acceptable. Avi - you don't have to be 'for' Kadima or any other party to demonstrate on this issue. Make your own sign - Not Kadima, Yes Equal Rights!
12. Haredim=Taliban
Shlomo ,   USA   (12.21.11)
13. separation
moshe ,   london   (12.21.11)
Separation is a good thing, personally I have very impure thoughts when seated behind a woman. I sometimes cannot control myself and need to think of Torah and Hashem. Why can't women understand that this is enticement and extreme provaction to torah lovers, saviours of the jewish people.
14. Re: #2 Comment
Aaron ,   Israel   (12.21.11)
Such venomous words are not helpful. Fact is I am Haredi, as are my neighbors, we all work, pay (lots of) taxes, and many of my neighbors are in uniform doing miluim. We are all aware of the problems, we need to work to fix them, and spewing hatred against a large segment of the population is as incendiary as the acts of those who blocked the bus. As a (haredi) Oleh from the USA I sometimes feel that we could teach all Israelis to cool it and live and let live. Kumbaya
15. this woman vs haredim
izzy d   (12.21.11)
i quote her "The public domain should be free, and people should be allowed to act as they see fit – work out, dress, eat and travel - to move about wherever they wish," this is an immature and unrealistic WISH!! it is the same thing to foister your unrealistic belief system on other be it if you are religious charedi and be it if you believe that above quote! Obviously people cannot dress as they see fit! obviously people cannot eat what they wish obviously they cannot move wherever they want! saying these things means she is indicating that they are basic rights. THEY ARE NOT!!
16. Livni is just plain embarrassing for Israel
Ezra ,   US-ISRAEL   (12.21.11)
"A great darkness is descending on Israel....!!! Ooooohhhwwww. Well if Livni left politics the darkness would be lifted.
17. Rosenblit is correct, but Livni is a tard....
Andy ,   Washington, DC   (12.21.11)
What on earth does this have to do with Kadima? I am sure as many Likudniks would agree with her that forcing a woman to budge on a public bus is an outrage. I am an Orthodox man, but my view is, buy your own car or shut up and sit down, wherever there is a seat. Your one little bus fare does not give you the right to reorganize the whole doggone bus.
18. #9
Rochel ,   Los Angeles USA   (12.21.11)
Yosef: You sound like a misogynist!
19. @ 2
(12.21.11)
keep your nose out of israel and stay in England!
20. now we all see
(12.21.11)
THE TRUTH ABOUT THE LIES OF THE LEFTISTS!
21. Freedom from and of religion!
sean ,   London, uk   (12.21.11)
If you want to wear ladies tights and furry streimels in 40 degree whilst waving chickens over your head I will support your right to do so. But don't you DARE force others to abide by your nonsense. I love Israel but I tell you when these people become the majority and all moderate Israelis move to Europe and the States Israel will mean as much to me as Afghanistan or Iran. STOP THIS MADNESS NOW!
22. SHE SHOULD BE DEPORTED
(12.21.11)
23. When the bus gets crowded....
Lemmings Hotline ,   sd usa   (12.21.11)
its really not so modest to stand together like sardines. Let the women sit in the front of the bus. Or , let them be mixed but keep the occupancy of the bus down. Thats only fair.
24. Livni's pathetic ploy for attention
Scott Simon ,   Beer Sheva, Israel   (12.21.11)
There is no disagreement among the secular parties that women's rights should be upheld. The laws reforming the Supreme Court to allow the Kneeset to confirm appointees as in the U.S. instead of a small elitist committee & the law to reduce the interference of foreign governments in Israeli politics have nothing to do with women's rights.
25. Rosenblit and Livni are two idiots!
Keren ,   IL-BR   (12.21.11)
Livni profits every idiotic occasion to get some light over her and her pants ,and Rosemblit gave already her message, now it is enough lest she is seen not as an idiot but as a big idiot. Stop making a storm in a glass of water!Israel has other more imoportant things to care of.
26. 21 Sean, London, UK: The radically religious are often
Rivkah   (12.22.11)
those who are violently resolute in what is right from HaShem's viewpoint. You will learn the wisdom of doing things HaShem's way when you die without knowing HaShem in this lifetime. But then it will be too late. You will be in darkness and great heat and thirst and forever separated from mercy and kindness and light and comfort because you will be forever separated from HaShem. According to the ELS Scripture code matrixes on Jews in hell vs. Jews in heaven, XTNS in hell vs. XTNS in heaven, and Muslims in hell vs. Muslims in heaven at www.warningusa.org you will learn that half the Jews enter HaShem's Kingdom eternally. 25% of Muslims do. But only 7% of XTNS enter HaShem's Kingdom. Why? Jews and Muslims are more likely to obey the Commandments of HaShem than XTNS who think the laws do not apply to them. Rabbi Yehoshua said the people who love HaShem will obey His Commandments. The Muslim way is closer to the Jewish way than the Christian way when it comes to chastity of women. That is one reason why HaShem is more likely to reveal His Son to Jews and Muslims than to XTNS.
27. WITHIN ''ISRAEL''
SJOERD RUURD VAN DER ,   MULTIVERSE   (12.22.11)
I WANT TO WISH THE FEMALE ''ISRAELI'' POPULATION A LOT OF SUCCESS IN ACHIEVING A TRUE AND JUST WOMEN AND HUMAN RIGHTS POLICY (FOR THEIR PEOPLE.).
28. Rosa Versus Tanya
Menachem Petrushka ,   New York USA   (12.22.11)
The Rosa Parks story was independently corroborated. In the Tanya Rosenblit story all we have is the say-so of one person. The Israeli media has not tried to verify the her story is true. There are no accounts of reporters contacting the police who supposedly responded to the call, getting in touch with the bus driver or trying to inerview any of the passengers on that bus. Secondly, no one has yet come forward to verify the Rosenblit story. Where is the video that supports Tanya' version of events? In the Internet age, that is very strange, Livni may see Rosa Parks I see someone who needed a good story to justify coming in late to work on Friday
29. shame on her: Planned provocation
uli ,   jerusalem   (12.22.11)
The woman is a JOURNALIST from Jewish News 1 and planned the whole thing, including photos taken on the scene and an interview with Minister Israel Katz immediately afterwards... The issue might be really problematic, but this looks more like an orchestrated propaganda provocation of the left.
30. #26 Rivkah
Joisy ,   New Jersey, USA   (12.22.11)
I had a hard day's work today, and I needed a laugh. I want to thank you for providing me with a gut buster.
