31. Why did Livnat participate in this cirucus?
Rachel ,   US   (12.22.11)
Fail!!!!!!!!!
32. #26, did you just quote a site that shows number of people
Henry from New York ,   USA   (12.22.11)
in heaven and hell? You realise that there's no possible way for anyone to know that, and that's if there even are such places (I subscribe to reincarnation myself, but I've no proof for it.)
33. Here you go: the modern Greeks!
Dvora ,   Berlin, Germany   (12.22.11)

is also in the public domain. It is not a synogogue. It belongs to all of us and all should have unrestrained and unfettered access. Women should be honored and revered by men in all spheres of daily conduct. Women are more important than men. Men cannot reproduce, this is their special contribution to the continuation of Mankind. Women should be loved, honored and cherished. Men are useless without women and Mankind is also useless without women.
35. Rosenblat & Livni
Rachel ,   Maoz   (12.22.11)
Wake Up! This was a planned incident from the beginning. In addition, there are very few "segregated" bus lines and they only run in religious areas where women choose to sit separate. The ultra-orthodox in Mea Shearim don't even use public bus lines. Considering we are surrounded by those who are trying to destroy us, this story is getting way too much press...
36. How long till Rosenblit runs for Kadima?
rebecca ,   Modiin   (12.22.11)
Either that or she wants a job at Ha'aretz. Her actions seem to have less and less to do with women's rights.
37. Tell that to Palestinians
Nina ,   NYC   (12.22.11)
No one can take away basic rights eh? Except of course Jews can take it from Palestinians.
38. This has nothing to do with erroneous concept of rights
Paul ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (12.22.11)
Are woman that insecure? Women don't sit next to me on any bus, anywhere, unless they are about to faint. But, if a man doesn't want to sit next to woman, especially a very attractive woman, or hear her sing, it becomes an issue of rights. Sick society. If the woman wasn't looking for a fight, she would have accepted the compliment and moved.
39. #7
Jez ,   Netanya Israel   (12.22.11)
David, best stay and vomit in New York if that is the best you can do to help Israel. With respect , Livinis contribution to Israel is significantly more than yours in the comfort of the big apple.
40. #2 Haredi go to army, do work
HumanRights ,   Tel Aviv   (12.22.11)
Some Haredi do go to the army - this is increasing and many do sherut leumi (community service instead of the army) Blanket categorization is inaccurate. Some Haredi, like some non-Haredi , have found a way within the system whereby they can avoid being part of the mainstream society. They also avoid working & military service There are many many secular who have also found legal loopholes whereby they do not have to work & get state assistance. Many many many (and increasing) secular, most particularly from Tel Aviv do not go to the army nor do sherut leumi (community service). Fathers who do not pay maintence are included in such freeloaders. Bottom line - not only Haredi fall within this category. But they are the only ones targeted. In America, there are 100's and 1,000's of such people and the state encourages. Most of those who receive State Welfare and all of those who are 2nd, 3rd & 4th generation benefactors are included in this. They are worse than the army shirking haredi.
41. #4 It happens every day in most Muslim run countries
Aviva ,   Tel Aviv   (12.22.11)
42. Not just any person. Political activist journalist
Anti-segregation   (12.22.11)
Rosenblit is not merely a Joe Schmo off the street. She is a political activist. And a journalist. She does not hide or deny these facts. She took with her, on this trip, co-workers. This was a planned, deliberate action. She also possibly iniatiated increased anger by touching one or more of the men. Sitting where one likes on public transport is inviolable. Invading a persons personal space and touching - in provocation, is unacceptable. Busses and public transport must be available to all. This incident has been policitally engineered by a journalist.
