31. God and madness
Avramele   (12.24.11)
There is little evidence that god Ever intervenes when mad leaders are bent on foolish and deadly escalations of a conflict. The decision on what to do about Iran must be made by humans not deities and based on our capabilities not god's.
32. Israel should not attack Iran.Let USA stew in its own poo

33. The strike MUST and it WILL come and
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (12.24.11)
the whole world knows it by now ! EVEN the Obama administration is in the process of rethinking it's misguided appeasement policy...In fact, general Dempsey has already signaled the GREEN light !

The US, Israel, and the UN has found plenty of evidence that Iran is developing nuclear weapons. Iran's actions reinforce their findings. Or do you still trust the liar Baradei? Or do you even care?
35. Sarah is right!
ZionBill ,   Occupied territory   (12.24.11)
There is nothing in the US arsenal that could hurt Iran, whereas Israel has more than enough military power to decimate Iran's military infrastructure--and without going nuclear. Israel could probably do it using only our air-craft carriers. But anyway, attacking Iran is long overdue. Yes, young children and the elderly will be killed when we take out Iranian nuclear facilities. But as we like to say, 'price tag.'
36. Finaly Some one speaks sense
Ken ,   Australia   (12.24.11)
Exactly , what I have been saying for years already, the cost of the iranian bomb on the region and the US is un-calculatable, lets say the mullahs let one go, what would happen after this, its criminal to think, the consequences are so dire that the world will be in a third world war situaion that will spin the globe into chaos, this costs the globe and many millions will starve and millions will die. The opposite is never to let these people build this bomb and its nearly too late, the cost of destroying the iranian neuclear industry is pittance, absoulutly small money and would clear the region for growth and free it from terror once and for all.
37. Why would the the best air force in the
jason white ,   afula, israel   (12.24.11)
world, bar none fail? If the I.A.F. cannot do it, then no one can! If b.o. and his two bit flunkey, gates did not cancel the F-22 program and sold Israel 50 F-22s. Then there would have been an end to this iranian nuke program long ago. Israel needs to buy F-15 block I now. We do not need to cut the defense budget, but increase it and cut the welfare budget to the bone. Let them sleep in the streets of Tel Aviv as a protest forever. I want my tax money to defend Israel and not house parasites and give money to non Zionist groups. Stop the child allowances to those that did not serve in the I.D.F. and make them return what they received with interest.
38. US attack Iran
Harold ,   USA   (12.24.11)
The United States just cannot do what Israel wishes. It happened once in Iraq and the United States learnt a very huge lesson. Moreover if Israel, the United States or both attack Iran the result will be end of Israel. There is a possibilty that all neighboiring countries including Egypt and Jordan take part in the war against Israel. The only solution for this problem is Nuclear Free Middle East.
39. #36
Harold ,   USA   (12.24.11)
Once short sentence is enough to solve this problem. "NUCLEAR FREE MIDDLE EAST" Israel brought this virus to the Middle East and now all neighboring countries want to have the same virus.

Iran is not Gaza. Period.

Baradei won the Nobel Peace Prize because he told the truth about Iraq and WMD
42. Israel should do the job. Here are 3 reasons why.
Chaim ,   Israel   (12.25.11)
Israel has a far more immediate interest in stopping the Mad Mullahs from building nukes than the U.S. Moreover, Israel has scored remarkable successes against both Iraqi and Syrian nukes. Israel would almost certainly do a better job of destroying Iran's nukes. Secondly, Israel would make it clear we are not a protectorate of the U.S., by destroying Iran's nukes. Thirdly, the Obama regime would not be able to demand Israeli concessions as a payback for an American strike.
43. # 39
Birdi ,   Israel   (12.24.11)
Great big words will not help the situation one iota. Very naive of you to think that Iran will ''give up'' its bomb.
44. Iran
alan ,   texas   (12.25.11)
Time is long past to destroy the Iranian government and nuclear infrastructure. All this talk about a world war is arab propaganda. What are they going to do besides scream and rant? If they could actually do something, they would have done it already. Destroy iran before iran destroys Israel or us! Destruction of iran will also put the brakes on further nuclear ambitions of the other arabs,
45. Point
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.25.11)
When the United States dropped two -- not one, two -- atomic weapons on Japan, quite a few innocent civilians were killed and maimed, but all in all, it was for the greater good. An American invasion of the Japanese home islands would have cost two million American lives. The United States decided that it was not worth it. Do keep in mind that it took TWO atomic weapons to bring Japan to its knees. One atomic weapon was not enough. So, were Israel to go full out to stop Iran, who can blame us? Are we not just following precedent? Iran represents the greatest threat to civilization that has ever existed. Does it matter who brings them to their knees, as long as the job gets done? Why waste Jewish lives, if killing Iranians saves civilization? Won't it be worth it? I think so? I invite all comers to disagree.
46. Strike Iran and then China and Russia and some other nations
Rivkah   (12.25.11)
will strike America. Better for Israel and America to repent of offenses to HaShem and let HaShem protect them. HaShem can control the minds of leaders of nations, even of Iran.

solomon ,   bklyn   (12.25.11)
You copy these exact same words to post every time. As long as you are going to post drivel, have the decency to change a word or two once in a while? You’re getting lazy.

solomon ,   bklyn   (12.25.11)
I get your sense of humor; good post. But just for the record, he and the IAEA won the prize for "efforts to prevent nuclear energy from being used for military purposes and to ensure that nuclear energy, for peaceful purposes, is used in the safest possible way." The prize was given for their efforts; no mention of Iran. And later revelations about Iran prove the lie to his 'deserving' the prize.
49. Sarah
Cameron ,   USA   (12.25.11)
Whoa, are you calling for nuke strikes on Persia? You sure you want to open that Pandora's Box? You could perhaps solve your immediate problem with those fanatics in one fell swoop, but you could also wind up magnifying troubles for Israel a thousandfold. The ultimate gamble that. This darkens my Christmas spirit.
50. nuke expert
francesco ,   miami, fl   (12.25.11)
yes, surgical strikes on the plants and also on those few crooks who are leading the money wasting to starve their own people while pursuing their delirious medieval istincts
51. Chaim #42
Brod ,   USA   (12.25.11)
You are absolutely right.
52. Destruction of Israel
Alex ,   Houston USA   (12.26.11)
Anyone who thinks Israel would be destroyed if it attacks Iran is dreaming. Israel has been working on its secret weapons in advance, just as Germany failed to do so.
53. Destructiom of Iranian nuclear facilities
Alex ,   Houston USA   (12.26.11)
Israel will utterly destroy iran's nuclear facilities, knowing exactly where they are and what force is needed to obliterate them. If retaliation is excessive by Iran or its proxies, israel will send them back to the stone age. The Jews are not playing around. They've had 2000 years without a standing military and just as they know the consequences of not having one, they know the consequences of not using theirs when necessary. Never again! Death to the enemies of God's people.
54. When the presents start to fall from the sky

will Santa be saying Ho....Ho...Ho??? Nope Bombs away!!
55. Sigh...
1984 ,   Scandinavia   (12.26.11)
Another warmongering psychopath, who of course fails to provide any evidence for nuclear weapons program. Minimize? It's been calculated that at least 10k people would die in bombings of the many different places. Not only is the US economy down the drain (still) but both China and Russia would be STRONGLY against such military strikes. The case for the Iraq war was bogus, and so is this. Fool me once...
56. NUCLEAR WEAPONS
DANNY TAWIL ,   ENGLAND   (12.26.11)
ROBERT OF AUSTRALIA, IF ISRAEL DROPPED 10 MAYBE TWENTY . NUCLEAR BOMBS ON IRAN THEY WOULD NEVER HAVE THE FASCILITY,S TO BOMB ISRAEL. AS ISRAEL WOULD DESTROY ALL BE FORE ANYTHING GOT OF IRANS GROUND.DEATH TO VAHIDI.
57. U.S
DANNY TAWIL ,   ENGLAND   (12.26.11)
WHAT I DONT HAVE ANY FAITH IN AMERICA AT WAR IS THEY TAKE SO LONG TO ACHEIVE THEIR GOAL, ISRAEL GOES TO WAR, THEY GO IN THEIR, THEY DO THE JOB AND COME OUT, UNFORTUNETLY AMERICA STAYS THEIR FOR MONTHS IF NOT YEARS.
58. NUCLEAR WEAPONS
DANNY TAWIL ,   ENGLAND   (12.26.11)
LISTEN CHRIS B YOU SHIT FACE, SADAM HUSSAIN USED CHEMICAL WEAPONS ON HIS PEOPLE DIDNT YOU SEE THE PEOPLE ON THE T.V. IN A VILLAGE WEAR THEY DROPPED DEAD ON THE SPOT IN IRAQ FROM SADAM HUSSAINS CHEMICAL WEAPONS YOU IGNORANT BIT OF SHIT. YOUNG AND STUPID.
59. #55 1984
solomon ,   bklyn   (12.26.11)
Given Iran's experiments, its reactions to the accusations and the report released by the UN, you are fooled once again as you believe it is bogus. Or do you still believe Baradei?
60. Wrong analysis
Jon   (01.16.12)
Mr. Kroening believes the US is able to quickly draw down the heat and end a conflict. This is the wrong assumption as Iran has repeatedly said that they will not start a military confrontation but if one is imposed on them they will decide. how it wil be fought , where it will be fought and how long it will last. That's the biggest card they have to play and drag the US and the world into the unknown.
