Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville, USA   (12.27.11)
Coming from a citizen of a once thriving and wonderful country whose future is tied to Iran and its Hezbollah Pet Poodles, your credibility as a political pundit is minimally credible, to say the least.
62. Showing his true colors now. Hes a goner
Levi ,   Karmiel   (12.27.11)
He will not make it anywhere now.
63. I smell...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (12.27.11)
...Mitt Romney's propaganda machinery behind this. The pathetic NON-self made billionaire Romney has absolutely nothing to offer, except flip-flopping and a thoroughly disingenious character. So he chooses to attack others.
64. HaHa
Moe Money   (12.27.11)
Yeah right buddy! The average American doesn't give a crap about Jews or Israel. Get ready for President Paul!
65. #48 Better check your facts
Cynthia ,   USA   (12.27.11)
Ron Paul is the only Republican candidate who does not support Israel. Or perhaps he supports Israel's right to disappear. Please provide specific and current examples of his "pro-Israel" stance?
66. I dont know why this tired..
david h ,   fort worth texas   (12.27.11)
old man even runs for president. the headline should read "Israel wishes Ron Paul didnt exist."
67. #48
JP ,   Tel Aviv Israel   (12.27.11)
Its not that he voted for Israel. He votes with the mindset of " Why should we care, Its not our problems!" He dosen't care about Israel, he just wants Israel to fend for itself. Paul believes the United States is not part of the international community and this man is wrong. But it does not matter, he has no chance and winning. And if you really believe all you just said, read a couple comments from Ron Paul supporters. They will have your blood boiling.
68. Ron Paul is trivial and irreleveant
David ,   USA   (12.27.11)
He is a total nut job. If he was president then the USA would be go back to the 18th century or so. He is a total buffoon and has no chance of being nominated.
69. he's a crackpot
david ,   new york   (12.27.11)
as michelle bachmann said, ron paul is a very dangerous man. he will wait until iran destroys new york before he does naything to stop iran. her's a nut case isolationist, who has no chance of hell in winning (thank god)
70. #17: isolationism is nothing new
david ,   new york   (12.27.11)
it often goes along with antisemitism. henry ford, for example believed that america should let the world go to pot and going along with that blamed jews for everything. hitler used to read ford's writings (not the otehr way around). buchanan and paul are more modern day isolationists. they have no chance of winning, thank goodness
71. #46 Ali Z. There is room for improvement
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (12.27.11)
Show me any Arab country that has no religion in their politics<,could use them as a role model
72. #40 Robert Vulk
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (12.27.11)
Ron Paul has never publicly stated his position on Israe, there is nothing to commend him for
73. #40 Vulk
Ish Kabibble ,   Delancey   (12.27.11)
If we use the reception that Netanyahu received when he spoke before Congress, receiving no less than 29 standing ovatons from both side of the Aisle, contrary to your statement, most American politicians who were there that day, favor Israel If you happen to have any sort of a valid poll that states otherwise, post it here, for all to see
74. The nut doesn't fall far from the tree..
Diane B. ,   Austin TX, USA   (12.27.11)
Doesn't Ron Paul's son support cutting off funding for Israel? I believe I heard him say that. Yes, I did. Like father, like son. Don't believe his "damage control".
75. To see just how much of an idiot he is...
Maurice ,   Montreal   (12.27.11)
...one has simply to watch the movie "Bruno" where his stupidity and idiocy are clearly exposed by Sacha Baron Cohen. Hard to believe that someone can consider this idiot as a potential candidate!
76. Ron Paul is more trouble than he's worth
AKUS ,   Washington, DC.   (12.27.11)
This nutcase is nothing more than a perennial spoiler that attracts America's right-wing lunatic fringe. He's more trouble than he's worth.
77. I am disappointed indeed
USA   (12.27.11)
I was supportive of Ron Paul, but the man should have the courage to openly and honestly talk about his views on Israel. I don't remember us constitution talking about which countries should and shouldn't exist.
78. He Can Say Anything He Likes
Brett ,   Florida   (12.27.11)
But the mere fact he is anywhere in the polls at all shows everybody what kind of trouble this country is in. He is a moron of the highest degre and yet the lost souls in America will vote for him. Maybe, just maybe this remark will end his cereer.
79. Pissing in the Wind
Marks2Much ,   California   (12.27.11)
Mayer, you're absolutely correct. Unfortunately, you're pissing in the wind. Nearly all of the Israelis who post on most of the news outlets are incapable of accepting any kind of valid criticism of their country or its policies, let alone bother to understand why others don't see their country the same way, and come across as brainwashed reactionary drones. It's very sad.
80. The 2008 election showed America will not vote for the
Rivkah   (12.27.11)
elderly wisened deserving candidate or for a woman on the ticket. So Ron Paul cannot win even if he gets the nomination while his son Rand could have. But US Senator from Kentucky Rand Paul would not run for US President against his father. If he had and if he got the nomination, he could have gotten elected. America will not vote for elder Statesmen or women in sufficient numbers to get such a person elected. That means the end of America with four more years of Obamination.
81. I think iran is too much trouble, i think
Barney ,   usa   (12.27.11)
gaza is too much trouble, i think the russians are too much trouble. in fact the syrians aren't a piece of cake either. what about all those pesky islamist african nations messing with the oil we need. they are too much trouble. ron paul. he is no trouble he is nobobdy
82. I'm sorry Israel, this time America must...
SCB ,   CA USA   (12.27.11)
...vote for America or America will cease to exist. It has turned into a police state under these unconstitutional crooks. Just another hit piece on our last Constitutional hope. If you cannot see through it, well, that's why you all have the leaders you have as well. America is just months away from civil war itself...
83. Just another hit piece by the MSM, here is why:
SCB ,   CA USA   (12.27.11)
"Ron Paul does not even need the GOP to win the general election. If he were to walk away for a third party, he would take at least 12% of the Republican vote with him. He would also take another 15% from the Independents and at least 11% from the Democrats. This would give him 38% − enough of the vote to win the Presidency in a three-man race. GOP strategists know all this and this is why you will never hear them utter these statistics in the mainstream media. If the public were to become too "hopeful" − if they were to understand the mathematics of the situation − even more people would vote for Ron Paul if for no other reason than to be on the winner's bandwagon."
84. Ron Paul
GUY DAVID ,   MARATHON ,FLORIDA   (12.27.11)
Ron Paul ,and the supporters of his I have seen ,are all totally against ISRAEL. He [ R. Paul ] is a racist anti-semite ,and there exist much evidence of that. How he is on the Republican ticket is shocking. He can only assist Obama in his bid for four more years in the White House ,and , quite frankly ,as much as I am against Obama , I find Ron Paul to be even WORSE !
85. HE IS RIGHT
FRED ,   USA   (12.27.11)
I am not a Ron Paul fan but yes they are more trouble then they are worth. Cost the American tax payer plenty to pander to Israel.....Cost us plenty in international relations to the rest of the world.
86. #23 Ben
Fred ,   usa   (12.27.11)
That standing ovation was bought and paid for by AIPAC....If Israel is so loved why do you need a lobbyist. That 63% approval rating is because the media is not allowed to see the bad behavior of Israel for fear of being an " anti semite"
87. You are right I believe..
mat ,   tel aviv   (12.27.11)
About the gvt run news I'm not sure. Ron Paul however does believe in Israel being independent in its decision making. You are also right about how he voted and being the ONLY member of congress to support us, based on his independent principles. He means what he says and he is the only candidate who has any consistency in terms of talking and voting. America is good for the world only when they are strong, Ron Paul will regain that lost strength by returning to free market, limited government principles he believes in. I also believe that even if US cuts the 3 Bil subsidies to us we will manage plus we will have the freedom to act whenever we see fit without taking anyone into account except our own interests. Ron Paul will ensure freedom continues in America based on his undeniable and true believe in the constitution and liberty. This will enable more trade with us as well as strengthen the world economy. I dont like the AID cut but the AID isnt free, we dont sell technology to China and that could easily make up the Bills we need also instead of US getting out tech in exchange for that AID and us purchasing that AID from their dealers they will have to pay for our tech which is even more Bills. Our market in all sales is really huge at that point without these current constraints, in fact I'm sure we'll see our GDP increase significantly more than the 3Bil and US will find themselves spending a lot more on our tech know how than they do today. So yes YNET is wrong in this case and I believe Ron Paul may end the procrastinating in us moving forward as a country and our enemys will think twice when they understand we have a free reign. Dont underestimate the free market, we will not fare too badly if Ron Pauls policies are implemented. YNET please think more carefully about giving all the facts before posting such an article. Freedom in America propagates world wide!
88. 48 Kol Hakavod
Ussishkin ,   Tel Aviv Israel   (12.27.11)
Someone4 needs to speak up in the face of this paranoia that lashes out blindly and would destroy any ANY criticism of our state, even if it has some rationale and is made by people who have and continue to support us despite what we do to ruin our relationships with friends and allies and what we persist in doing to ourselves.
89. And he is paid by?......
Ambrosine Shitrit ,   london   (12.27.11)
90. Ron Paul
sue ,   israel   (12.27.11)
